choiwyd I thought that most cosmetic stores take back used products and just throw them away. Even if you return an unused product they often throw it away, but do a refund in order to avoid dispute
I love the fact that despite being sponsored, you were honest about what you liked and what you didn't like. And it wasn't even mean honesty, it was just "hey, its just not my thing" which I appreciate. I don't mind rosewater scents, I feel like an older person anyway so might as well smell like one 😂 hate floral scents too btw!

Their customer service is amazing! My package didn't move for a week so I contacted them just wanting some clarification on where my package was, they sent me a whole new package for free with the fastest shipping they have!!! I ended up with two packages cause my original order shipped at some point even though I thought it was lost 💕 they really do care about their customers 🙆🏻♀️👌🏼👌🏼
their stuff is hella overpriced, but some of their AHA treatments are so good imo, it cleared my acne scars so well! I’d say get the smaller sizes they offer for $28 just to see if it works for you!
I really enjoyed Drunk Elephant back when I was using it but TBH I've since moved on. That being said, I only ever used the vitamin C serum and the Hydra B serum but I find that I prefer Ole Henrickson for actual efficacy of products and the Ordinary for affordability.
@@chlobe502 I'm a bit late with this reply maybe, but the purito centella spf 50 one is great. It doesn't have a scent and it isn't thick like other spf 50 sunscreens often are.

At the company that I work for, when you send stuff back and its opened we dispose of it (unfortunate and unnecessary waste). I've tried to bring up maybe recycling or changing to sustainable packaging since I work at the corporate office but they don't care.
I have a love & hate feeling towards the lip balms now bc the oil has separated from mine multiple times and I find it annoying lol. I like the coconut one bc of the scent and want to try the mango one but idk now.

The balms are a little notorious for being inconsistent in texture and separation potential. I think coconut and birthday are the worst offenders, while cherry and unflavored don't seem to give anyone any problems, and mango seems okay so far. I've been working on a free tube of unflavored they sent me after a small order delay and it's never separated on me. (And I'm MAD because I didn't WANT to love their bougie 12 dollar lip balm but that stuff saved my life in cold season.)

I used to think glossier is overpriced and overhyped but I ended up loving all of the products i tried from them, the boy brow and stretch concealer is bomb, cloudpaints actually stayed throughout the day, gen g is actually matte but sheer, like literally matte. Their customer service is THE BEST im saying that yes. I tagged them in one time saying my cloudpaints got leaked in my ig story and they reached out and add $5 to my acc (okay ikr yEs) and recently my gen g new packaging lipstick cap fell off missing, and i posted a story on it, tagged them in and saying i still love it but the new packaging aint helping, then they reached out and SEND me a new one. Idek how nice glossier could be but i love them okay ugh
Girl me too! I don't really like the scent of rose too. It's too powdery for me. But rose anything is good for your skin tho. Sigh. And the balm dot-com, get the coconut and try the birthday cake one for us. It's so hydrating. I use it as a night lip mask.
Okay, but glossier actually has the best customer service ever! My dumb ass bought the wrong shade skin tint and concealer and they told me to keep it and give it to someone it would work for; then they sent me my right shades for free. They got a lifetime customer after that.
So I basically went to school for Esthetics, basically skincare, and unless they taught me BS I learned that anything over SPF30 is a lie. SPF30 will do the same job as SPF50.
Their customer service really is the bomb! I ended up getting the wrong color of concealer (shade matching is hard) and they sent me a new one in the next lighter shade.
Appearantly spf 50 only offers 2% more protection than spf 30. Spf 50 is also more likely to irritate sensitive skin. In my country spf higher than 50 isn't allowed to be marketed (only as spf 50), and spf 30 is recommended over it, since 50 may offer a false sense of security, resulting in reapplying less often than spf 30.
the mist spray DID NOT at all smell like roses for me. It smells like a weird mix of chemicals and a tinnnnyyy bit of roses. it’s weird and I’m not a huge fan.

Cosmetics and body care that is returned is destroyed, they cannot resell it as it would be a health hazard. Some places may do something else with it if it is unopened and perfectly sealed, but they cannot risk reselling something used/opened by some one they don't know is healthy/free from contagious illnesses or not (and obvious example would be that they cannot resell lip products as they do not know if the customer suffers from cold sores or not).
If I’m not mistaken, you should be applying your eyecreams on your orbital bone because apparently the product travels and spreads itself out. And that it can be dangerous to apply it too close to the eye as it may irritate it. I’m not expert but I rather not have an eye irritation. Just a heads up! I’m really curious about the eyecream. Might get it! Hehe
Glossier is my best discovery when I moved here in NYC. I personally love their boy brow and cloud paints ❤️❤️❤️ Haven’t tried their lip gloss tho. What do you guys think of it?

It's always reassuring to hear that I'm not the only one hoarding lip balms. Nightstand, home desk, work desk, car, purse, gym bag- Every damn place NEEDS to have a lip balm or my day will be ruined by ashy ass lips.
Only if Glossier shipped worldwide instead of only the US and a few countries in Europe (and Asia?) :-(. I have skin very similar to yours and fell in love with how their "no make-up" make-up looked on you and I WANT THAT. 🥺 Also because I don't really like using heavy make-up and prefer korean make-up products but they don't cater to my skin color. 🤠

When I first ordered glossier I was kind of disappointed at half of the order I now look back and realise it wasn’t so bad the aspects I complained about on a couple of things I should have found out myself (some of it wasn’t right i didn’t just complain for money) but they straight away read my poorly worded not thought out email, refunded me for every product i complained about and told me to keep them I have ordered more stuff since.
