I've used clear mascara on my daughter's hair for years. She has super fine hair and her baby hairs are out of control. I just use $2 wet and wild (or whatever is the cheapest) and it looks great.

Yeah, I use either an old mascara wand with hairspray or a hairdye brush. You could also use a (clean) toothbrush, anything with tiny bristles will work

Yeah I really need this I'm getting my hair dyed white 😅... what I do is pre wet hair and sometimes put oil or conditioner on the ends (bit worried about doing it on white hair because I heard horror stories about colour seepage) and then braid hair (less surface area exposed) and then a cap and wash straight after with conditioner and oils

Ooh, me, me, me! I was a swimmer for several years, spending a couple hours in the pool every day. My hair was never green and I even got compliments on its length or relative health. I used Herbal Essences conditioner (specifically the coconut hydrating one) and always put conditioner on my hair before swimming. I'd focus putting it on the ends (but didn't completely neglect the top), tied it up into a bun, put the swim cap on, and didn't rinse it out until my post-swim shower. It'll give you an hours-long condition and protect your hair from the chlorine at the same time!

I believe she did a video on styles to wear when swimming last summer, but I'll have to search for it. She basically said to wet your hair and put in a leave in conditioner so that your hair can't absorb anymore salt or chlorine water

That's adorable that they sent your sister PR as well. ❤ to tame my flyaways I use a new toothbrush (I.e. never used for teeth, specific for this only) and spray my hair spray on it, then run over my flyaways.

I usually use clear brow gel for my baby hairs....but I may need to try that hair mascara instead and see if it works any better! I also NEED those hair ties

I do the same! The NYX control freak brow gel has too big of a wand for my brows, but it works great for baby hairs!

You should do a video on hairstyles for dancing based on your sisters time dancing. Have her give some tips on secrets she had for her hair and things. She can be the expert and Kayley can improve on the ideas.

Hey Kayley! as far as video ideas go, this is more instructional than the "trying different stuff" line that you're on lately, but I'm trying - and struggling to style my bf's hair for work (can't trust him to even put on leave-in conditioner on his own) and having some trouble with the products, we don't have a lot of money so I don't want to go of buying a lot of stuff to try... could you do a video of like different hairstyle products like palmade, hair gel, hairspray and stuff like that and what effect they each give? I don't usually use any styling products on my own hair, just conditioners and home-made masks to keep it healthy so it's definitely an area in which I am pretty ignorant. Like a product and their effect 101 kind of thing? Love you, been watching you for pretty much ten years now, keep up I love your content! and love to AL too!

L'Oréal colourista. It hurts, it transferred everywhere and I had to wash my hair 12 times to make it move like hair again. Ultimate regret.

This is one of my favourite youtube channels. I am not good with hair, but thanks to watching this channel I have been inspired to practice doing braids on myself and I have been getting way better. I've been following you for a little while now, and at first having Kayley was all I needed, but now with Ana Laura (don't know if that is correctly spelt) is a game changer. I learn even more, and it helps me with mistakes I didn't even know I was making because Kayley comes in after to do retouching. Great video, great content, huge fan. Simply thank you.

Okay, gotta get some of those hair ties! Worst purchase was a pack of the teleties hair binders. They are okay for a bun, but terrible for ponytails. At least on curly hair. They were impossible to get out.

I want to try the hair crimping one. It looks fun, I have really thick straight hair and it’s just always difficult to try to do anything to change it’s straightness. I’m interested. For the hair mascara, I’ve actually been buying the clear brow gel by Bourjois for years, much cheaper and it works just as well!

The hair mascara thing seems super cool as well for those with glasses. If hairspray gets on your glasses it can break down the coatings on them, but taking your glasses off to do your hair is not really practical. So this trick seems doubley useful in that case!!
