Really good tip about buying alcohol markers in threes: light, medium, and dark. If I had known that when I first started buying Copic markers I probably could have saved some money! I bought colors I liked then later on I realized I needed colors that blended together 😂.

Oh, yes...I had loads of time then too. And my hubby still had his good job! I was still on a few Design Teams, and had time to give away for free. Now I wish I would have put that time into drawing back then. Lol

Beautiful flamingo artwork!! Really great tips for using alcohol markers. I don’t use alcohol markers much anymore, but I so enjoyed watching you create this piece. You are most definitely an artist!!! You have a God given talent, which most of us aspire to have one day! Thanks for sharing! 😊

Your flamingos turned out beautiful!!! I love flamingos...thanks for the great review, I think I'll stick to my ohuhu , but I'm just a crafter so good enough for me! I used to draw...but lost I've lost my ......I don't know what to call it.....(as a teenager all my art books got tossed in the trash)....it broke me...and I've never drawn since 😢 but I love to craft so I just colour others imaged now

Thank you!! Yes, the Ohuhu markers are great for crafters and a really great price! You can create these flamingos with your Ohuhu markers. Oh, I can relate to that. Please don't feel bad if you don't draw now. I loved to draw as a child/teenager. But, I did not have markers/color to use just school pencils. I really don't like drawing now, I just want to play with the pretty colors. That is why I loved stamps, the shortcut to the fun stuff! Lol There is nothing wrong with crafting, and being creative in your own way. Just do what you love! 💗

Thank you, Fuzzy! In the USA they seem to be about $1 less than Copic markers. I think they are great for people who love and use alcohol markers all of the time. Sorry these aren't available for you yet. But, you are so lucky to have Cult Pens! They are now carrying individual full pans of Rosa Gallery! Thank you so much!! 💗

Yes, I think the refills are a better price too. I hope you can try these someday. These are an investment as well, so please just try a few to begin with.

Hey Nicole! The nib is nicer than Ohuhu Markers, and the ink from memory. So far I think the Ohuhu markers are nice for beginners, because they are so affordable. These are for people who know they love alcohol markers. They are the closest to Copic markers I have ever tried. I hope that helps! I hope to find time to make a comparison video. ;D

No, there are no alcohol markers that are archival that I'm aware of.

@@lindawilliamson6073 Yes, I wish I was sent more products that were archival. It's definitely a wiser investment. You can use your Faber Castell markers, or any product to paint these flamingos. But, I can still enjoy some products just for fun in sketchbooks from time to time. 😊

They are ridiculously overpriced, I tried them, nothing special. There is another new alcohol marker called OLO. They are great,very unique.

Do you think so? These are an investment for sure! That is why I mentioned I believe they are only for people who know they love alcohol markers. I think Copic markers are ridiculously priced now, and their refills! These are about $1 less than Copics, maybe more with the coupon. Thank you for the feedback, I haven't tried OLO markers yet. I really love watercolors and colored pencils much more than alcohol markers. But, it was fun to to try these! 💗
