Trying Star Wars: The Old Republic Again After 10 Years

It's been 10 years since I first played Star Wars The Old Republic and fought against the Sith. But after such a loooong hiatus, I joined the Sith to destroy the Republic dogs!
It's crazy how long it has been since I played SWTOR at launch I and now we have patch 7.2.
There's so much new stuff like the Revan content, Mandalorian, and many others. I literally had no idea where to start so I just started the whole thing again. Sure I could've boosted a level 70 character but that's not where the fun begins!

I just started playing SWTOR again as well to see what's changed and my girlfriend started playing too (her first actual MMO). The game definitely feels a little "dumbed down" and the abilities have been condensed quite a bit for sure as my quick bar is much less cluttered, lol. Still an enjoyable experience though for a free to play title.

Exactly. Not sure but I also remember skills/abilities were actually learned from trainers back then. That right?

@@Mr.Possums yeah, now the trainers are just for basic stuff it seems like speeder skills. You automatically get your abilities as you level up.

I love this game. I just don't have a computer anymore to play it. But fuck it, now I actually might get one.

@@savirianwinter1656 you don't need a high end PC either honestly. I took some old parts I had to build my girlfriend a PC so she could play with me. For the sake of mentioning, specs: I7-2600k, H61 motherboard (the Z77 board it had died, so using a compatible Dell desktop that had an i3-3220), 8GB DDR3 1600 Mhz RAM, RX570, 256 GB SSD, and put in an old power supply I had as the stock 265 watt won't cut it, lol. Playing on medium/high settings, runs pretty decently :)
