We had to play an awful Minecraft knockoff in my Japanese class last semester as a legitimate assignment. We were supposed to build historical Japanese buildings. It was playable, but not fun. That teacher had the worst assignments. The only reason the school keeps him is so they can boast that they have a Japanese class.

I used to play one on my mom’s iPad called Survival Craft where you were a pirate marooned on an island and you had to survive. The swords looked like big machetes and there were muskets and stuff. Was actually pretty neat.

I remember talking to a classmate in school about minecraft, they said they played block craft and was like "just another minecraft ripoff." now i truly know how it feels to be that classmate.
There are two clones that hold a special place in my heart: Worldcraft and Block Story. I used to farm for enemy drops by harvesting and placing npc and enemy spawners. They would fight for some reason. Such awesome memories.

i remember playing crafting and building on my phone, and it was actually really good, had nice textures, wasnt laggy, i could play easily with my friend and it was almost exactly like minecraft with the game mechanics but then all of a sudden it changed and it looked like the games they played in this video.. biggest glowdown ever

I remember two knockoff Minecraft games I remember playing on my Kindle Fire. Survival Craft and this weirdly realistic, D&D-like, block game. Survival Craft had a free version and it had realistic mobs like wolves, bears, etc. You could only play one day in the free one, but I just made new worlds. The other game was really weird. The sounds, textures, mobs, and water were realistic and off-putting. Even the music was strange. Both were interesting and got me into the real Minecraft and modding.
I've played one of these when i was a kid, and since there was no way to replenish hunger, i literally built myself a grave, cross included and sat in the hole until i died lmao
I struck pretty good with my pc Minecraft knockoff It was some thing were, when you loaded up, you’d enter your name and the game would assign you a skin based on the name u put in I can’t remember what it was called but aside from that it was pretty much Minecraft You couldn’t go to the nether or the end but it was still pretty Minecraft
