The lazy Buddha is in my my list of top things to see in the world 😊So many original places to eat in Thailand. A true foodie’s paradise. Thank you for taking us along Tim😊
WOW, enjoy Tim. Im sure you have great stuff to do on your itinerary. I look forward to your next video. Enjoy the rest of your time there Bro, "Choke Dee", Krub.
The Master Card comment made me laugh so hard 🤣 😂 😆 Yes I do agree with Matthew and yourself about Rib Cap. Usually I think "$100" burgers are overrated with gold flakes and such. This tasting menu blew me away. Hope your New Year is off to a great start Tim.
Gosh, you had me reliving the fond memories of my own meal (or should I say, culinary experience) at Homeburg BKK. So glad you enjoyed it - it was the most unique, delicious and riveting omakase I’ve had to date. Hope you’ve been well, Tim - Southeast Asia misses you! 😊
I'm in Australia but never been to Thailand, I have been planning on going to Bangkok in the near future though. Wow $115 at that burger restaurant? 😮 It's tempting to they out but so expensive. Awesome experience for you Tim.
This was a bit on the high side, and I think I might’ve mixed up the exchange rate. It should’ve been less, but it was still quite high up there. Food in Thailand is so inexpensive and so good that you will have no problem finding amazing places to eat.
Add some small japanese side dishes and a 100 dollar burger meal. Bangkok has many great burgers for a fraction the cost. For about 1/10 that price Fattys Pub has great burgers american style bbq, blue cheese, etc etc. get fries or cole slaw included. i must say they have the best onion rings around. bonus live music, craft beers. you are "stuffed" after eating one of those burgers. i often cut in half and share with a friend and also enough but without feeling bloated.
Had a multi course meal with wines but nothing like this. All the dishes looked fun and delish. Crispy taco looked like it was fun to eat. But I'm most impressed with how the condiments went on the burger bun. I am very picky about how my condiments are done. Nice! Hello from (still) rainy Corvallis, Oregon.

I would have really enjoyed the tour as I'm into all that history stuff. As far as the food goes I cannot eat hamburger that is raw or almost raw, makes me nausea Was that the golden budda? 🤔😁😀
Tim: I see you have visited mostly southeast Asian countries like: Thailand, Vietnam, Philippine, Singapore, Malaysia and some European countries for food. But how come I haven’t seen you visit China, Hong Kong, Taiwan or South Korea for food for your channel?
Coca Cola needs to sponsor you, too, Tim. You're just advertising for them for free, but they haven't yet seen the great reviews and contents you've shown on your channel. Great video here as always!
uhhm no.. white elephant is a gift that costs you to keep and maintain it. 'the elephant in the room' is different and is the obvious thing that nobody will talk about.
How many Michelin stars did they have? I bet none and it just goes to show that they are not needed. That dinner journey looked amazing. You were lucky to go second with the burgers, although you knew you were missing something when you heard the gasps from the ones that went first, at least you didn't know what you were missing. Unfortunately for the ones that went first, they had to watch you guys eat them and they knew what they were missing. :)
You know, there’s a funny story, because I went on a food tour, and it was explained that lemons are quite rare in Thailand, because they have to be imported. It gets very expensive.
Then don't bother eating red meat. Well done shouldn't even be an option for beef. Not trying to be a dick but well done is just ruining the meat.Y grandma and brother in law used to eat well done until I started cooking them medium rare steak. They quickly realized the error of their ways.
@@krissolson7043true for steak . But minced meat needs cooking all the way through. Otherwise you run the risk of food poisoning. SEARCH it. Hope your grandma is okay as food poisoning in the elderly can be fatal. Just saying.
8:46 “light as a cloud but top heavy though” 😅.. Tim between you and me these were the exact words I used during my visit to Thailand but that wasn’t food.🫣🫣
Imagine you go out to enjoy an evening and try a $100 burger, and some chowderhead is there recording the whole thing. I’d walk out and never return. Private businesses need to start respecting people’s privacy by not allowing this bs. How entitled can you be.
