Just FYI guys, some kind of RU-vid bug has meant that when you watch the video back in a Chrome browser, the video's audio is completely out of sync. As far as I can tell if you watch it back on the RU-vid mobile app (or even in another browser other than Chrome?!), then it plays back absolutely fine without any desync. We'll try and get the issue sorted with RU-vid but in the meantime you can watch the video that way!

I'm not even mad, I love the Michelin Madness videos! Their travel costs have gone nown drastically since the pandemic, so I'm pretty sure they can afford it. I mean, they used to fly back and forth between London and Seoul multiple times a year! Even the most expensive Michelin take-out is still cheaper than the airfare from England to Korea

Fun fact: Battenberg is in fact a German town, located in the state of Hesse. Battenberg is also the German name for the British dynasty Mountbatten. The name was changed to Mountbatten (which is a literal translation) due to an anti-German sentiment amongst British public after WWI.

Battenberg is a family branch of the House of Hesse-Darmstadt who ruled the Grand Duchy of Hesse in Germany in the times of the Napoleonic wars and WW1. You guys should at least know Princess Alice of Battenberg, who was the mother of Prince Philip and mother-in-law of Queen Elizabeth II.

They should also know him as Mountbatten, the british branch of the family is called that. Lord Mountbatten was Prinz Phillips grandfather and sea admiral in WW1 for the UK. He was married to one of queen victorias granddaughters, for this wedding the cake was created

Even the champagne bottle pops in an understated British way. Quite fancy. And Battenberg actually is a German city. :) It is the small town where the Royal family of Mountbatten originally came from. "Berg" is German for "mountain". 🤓
