Today we are at the "BEST BBQ RESTAURANT" in Duvall Washington, at a place called Amarillo BBQ, to take on their MASSIVE 12lb "WEST IS BEST" BBQ Platter Challenge. We have 45 minutes to complete the whole meal and if we do, we will get the meal for free. However, if we do not, we will have to pay the $160 price tag. Let's have some fun and enjoy some of this TEXAS STYLE BBQ.

Nice challenge. Wish I could eat several different meats for a meal. Sadly, I can't anymore. Over 50 a 12 Oz steak is plenty enough for me. With a perfectly baked potato, garlic bread and a salad. Great job young man.

I always have a hard time with BBQ foods in a restaurant. I LOVE BBQ, but the sauces are 9 times out of 10 sweet. Not my thing, I like them smokey and savory, and not scared of a little spice. Great job as alway Scott, you da man!!!! 🤩

Scott I was watching the counter behind you and it confirms what you said about the quality of the food. The counter never slowed down. Congrats on ending a undefeated streak for that platter. As for favorite sauce I am a dry rub man myself. But if I want a different flavor on the meat I use a North Carolina vinegar based sauce, less sweet the better.

I know! That brisket had just the right amount of fat/meat ratio and was dripping with juices. My bbq was fantastic! Was so nice having a long awaited gathering with friends for an outdoor meal. The meats were a bit dry though. 😂 But I enjoyed the aluminum foil wrapped salmon that had scallions, soy sauce, ginger, bok choy ( Chinese veg). Could have eaten the whole fish to myself! My fave! I like to experiment with different ways of cooking my favourite foods using various spices. This is my new thang now! 😂 Spices are 🔥 Enhances everything! Plus some have health benefits that are astounding. Imagine… natural medicine that tastes good. Yesssss

Hi Scott , Yum 😋 bbq is my favorite. I love to watch the bbq challenges . Im definitely a sauce person, but i have never heard of a white sauce . I love a muster base sauce or a sweet heat sauce and a sweet vinegary with a little spice . Fantastic job.

I think I met my daily protein requirements just watching this! 😅 Can see why it was undefeated! But boy did that look good!! 😋 I have no idea what White Sauce is, but I’m guessing it’s not just mayonnaise. And best beans you ever had? Well, I guess if they ever do a vegan challenge they’d know where to start (but that would be a terrible loss to the meat-loving community 😢). That looked super tasty Scott. I'm gonna math(s) for a sec: I'm guessing the meat content of that platter was 9lbs (minus bones and sides), so 4.1kg. Red meat contains about 26% protein by cooked weight, so 1.07kg of protein in that platter. The average adult male needs 55g per day.... errrrm, so you're good for the next 3 weeks more or less. Love it
