This was the most real, vulnerable and raw video you’ve ever posted. As someone who’s been watching you for over 10 years now I appreciate that so much. I’d love for you to keep us updated on your journey! I’m sure for all those going through infertility the fact that they’re not alone is reassuring and comforting. We’re all here supporting you and sending you warm wishes throughout this journey! Much love

I know this must not be easy for you but thank you for letting everyone in on your journey and just know you are not alone. It does not have to be a lonely journey for you! I can’t imagine how difficult this was to share, especially considering the current global situation and the negative backlash you might receive, but I think stories like this don’t get shared often enough. Thank you for posting this snapshot of something so many choose to keep private

Why should people stop living their life because of the current global situation? Are you trying to imply that people should not try to get pregnant because of what’s going on in the world? You know it’s people like you that have such a negative mindset that automatically think negativity. Nobody should have to stop living because of things going on. You don’t have to stop living your life because people wanna be ignorant and think everyone has to stop living.

Always A Sweetpea I used to think things like that...and still do at times, I’ve lost 4 and I still don’t have a rainbow baby. However that’s my journey and I can’t judge Elle because of hers. Yes she is lucky to have a baby at all but she hasn’t got her second that she desperately wants so that brings its own feelings ...this would still hurt I think. I have had to come to terms that I can’t have a pregnancy of my own so my husband and I are going to try and adopt, we have so much love to give and we’ve been together 16 years and married for 8 so we are as stable as stable can be. A team member at work announced that she has been given the all clear to try for a baby after depression, anxiety and rage issues. I’m going to be honest and say I judged her for a split second and then I was incredibly sad...why her and not me? It isn’t fair...but I had to plaster a smile on my face and say what amazing news it was, while I was crying on the inside. We will get our longed for chance Always a sweet pea... it may just be on a different route x

Hey girl I just went through all of this testing. I too have a little one and have been having difficulty conceiving a second. I sent you a dm on IG. Feel free to reach out. I know exactly how you are feeling. Btw buy the pregmate hcg test strips on amazon they are more sensitive than the first response. I even found the clear blue to be more sensitive than the first response too! On the amazon ones you can get a positive as early as 9dpo! They are also so cheap and you get like 50 in a box!

YES! I just found out I'm pregnant 2 days ago and I am a testing maniac so I was testing obsessively since like 6dpo. When I finally got my positive, it was much clearer on the pregmate than the FRER. Now that I'm 12dpo, the FRERs are darker than the pregmates, but for early detection, pregmate all the way.

I cannot agree more! Clear blue is much more sensitive. The first day, I got a very fainted line with clear blue while first response shows nothing. The next day I got a clear line with clear blue, but still nothing for first response. You should definitely try it!

Elle, I was diagnosed with secondary infertility after over a year of trying in my mid 30s. This is my first time sharing my story publicly. But i want you and any other mamas who need to hear it to know my story. My hormone levels were not normal indicating that my egg reserve was low. I was told that I would have a 10% chance of conceiving naturally. More tests were run and it was confirmed my egg reserve was low and I would not be a strong candidate for IVF. We decided to try two more cycles naturally with the fertility doctor monitoring us before exploring what other options we had. The next step in the plan was Clomid. The first natural cycle the pregnancy test was negative. Now on the midst of all of this I was told by a teacher of my first son about a shrine in St. Augustine, Florida where women will pilgrimage to when experiencing infertility. It is called Our Lady of La Leche. It’s the most beautiful shrine in a peaceful setting. We were told so many stories women who had been dealing with infertility for years reporting pregnancies sometimes as early as one month after visiting the shrine and praying there. So we did go there and the first time we went the shrine was closed to the public due to hurricane damage. This shortly after was when we started all the testing with the fertility doctor. We went back after that and it was open. There are a few places in my life that I connect to in a way that moves me to tears when I visit. This is one of those places. I purchased a candle and I lit it and said prayers. The following cycle we had a yolk sac. 4-5 ultrasounds later we still had not heard a heartbeat. The day after Christmas that year we were told that the yolk sac had failed to mature and was now being reabsorbed by my body. We saw on the ultrasound that the yolk sac was misshapen and there was no heartbeat. I was asked if I had ever experienced pregnancy loss before and I was so numb and in shock I didn’t know what to say. I hadn’t though. The doctor pulled out the prescription pad and told me I had three options. They would either prescribe me a pill, schedule me for a procedure or I could let my body do what it needed to naturally. They said some women didn’t feel right knowing they were carrying something that would never be a baby so they could take the pill the same day. I was overwhelmed and I asked if for the time being if I could just wait to let my body do what it needed to. They scheduled to see me two weeks later because if my body hadn’t done what it needed to I would be scheduled for a procedure. More tests were done to monitor the decrease in my HCG levels as a result of the loss. In that time the grief I experienced was indescribable and immense. I found myself laying in bed staring at the wall feeling so empty inside and anxiously awaiting what it would feel like when everything did happen. By the time we got to my next appointment nothing had happened so they needed to do another ultrasound. I was laying there and the doctor kept saying that’s strange. My husband looked at the screen with her. We had a heartbeat. We also had a large blood clot. The blood clot was so large that it had obstructed the yolk sac and made it look like it was deformed and there was no heartbeat, and here we were with a beating heart. I cried a lot of tears. That healthy amazing miracle baby will be two in August. I am so glad I didn’t give up on our journey. And since then we regularly go back to that miracle shrine. I have met so many other moms with incredible stories. We cry together. We meet one another’s babies. We realize the power of prayer is very real. Good luck to you, Elle. I know this journey can be exhausting, frustrating, devastating and grueling. I will be sending positive vibes your way.

Generally, by the time it gets to the poking and blood testing part with the women, the man's already had his sperm tested. I think it's safe to assume that if her fertility team has decided to do the tests, prescribe the meds etc, that the man has already been checked. At least where I live the couple has to go to their family doctor together and testing the sperm (count and motility) is the first thing they do.

I don’t comment a whole lot but I’m really compelled to say a couple things.. First my most genuine and sincere apology at true negative test result. I was at the edge of my seat biting my nails while praying that it be positive - and I’m not a nail biter at all so I was very vested in this test ❤️ and hopeful, The second thing is that it’s EXTREMELY impressive how much you have learned about the fertility process and how articulate you convey the information. I have a feeling that you are helping a lot of women who are on their own journey. I don’t recall hearing that your husband was tested for any issues on his side? If you feel comfortable sharing I think that would be helpful as well. Love, thoughts and prayers to you sweet little family ❤️

If you're comfortable, please continue sharing your journey. I've chosen not to have children, but several people close to me are going through the same process you are and your candor is helping me better understand their feelings and find ways to support them. I can only imagine how hard it is share and be vulnerable; please know how much it means to others who are also feeling alone.

Elle, i love you so much! You have always been a sweet light in my subscriptions for YEARS. Thank you for sharing this journey with us. It is so important to show the realities that women go through when trying to conceive. This must have been difficult to share but I know you’re making a difference by being so real and honest. Sending you all the love! P.s. watch Leighannsays if you don’t already, she’s currently on an IVF journey and she’s also a positive person!!

❤️❤️ As someone who also suffered secondary infertility I feel your pain. I am heartbroken with you. Go give baby James the biggest hug and kiss. It always helped me to cuddle my son after another negative test. It’s hard but try to believe everything happens for a reason. I tell myself that for some reason god knows my son just needs to be an only child a little while longer and my time will come again.❤️❤️❤️

Don’t give up Elle, my mum and dad got pregnant with my sister 5years after my brother was born after she decided to give up. 5 months after my sisters birth she found out she was pregnant with me. Both of those were happy little accidents. She believe now that she had to relieve the stress and anxiety of not being pregnant. It can happen and It will happen all according to Gods plan.
