Given how nice a job you've made of mating the hoop up why not remove the entire pressed steel shock mount etc and extend the original frame in line with the tube that comes up from the rear footpeg mount in a straight line to the hoop and make a new top shock mount?
Hi, I am flattered that you think I have the ability to achieve this suggestion. Only been trying to learn to weld for a couple of weeks, so I am not sure I would trust my welds that much just yet. But I do like the idea. Thank you.
