Tap down the crown (the high spot around the dent) with a tap down tool and a dead blow hammer lightly to relieve tension. I do pdr at work an ran across your vids cause I wanna do some mods on my 2013 ss. BAD ASS PAGE BY THE WAY. Learned a lot.

Supposed to dry the water off before using the dent pullers they are not sticking to the body of the car as it’s wet!!! It doesn’t need to be wet just the heat needed to soften the panel. Seeing as it’s been a year ago, I guess the situation has been sorted.
