Honestly At One with the Sword is such a cool card, it’s literally just Horn of the Phantom Beast. The cool thing is people will often just swing into fulhelm to try and force the negate and you get to keep tempo waaaay in your favor
Ty for the games! It's hard to sum all of it up in 1 comment, but my biggest advice versus x Saber would be to make sure they never get 2 monsters in play for faultroll
At One with the Sword is literally a Horn of the Phantom Beast for the archtype, it's crazy how underrated the card is, and how it can work with control x-sabers
Saturday I went 4-0 with sabers at my local. Beat our 2 blackwings, fairy, and dark gaia. My advice to anyone wanting to play this, do tons of testing against blackwings. Understand the match up.
Pretty new to sabers and Edison, what is the general thought on creature swap? U get to play proactively w the recruiters and steal big bodies sometimes
Bottomless Trap Hole reads "When", which means that it can miss the window of opportunity. Mirror Force activates as chain link 1, then Starlight Road activates chain link 2. Chains resolve backwards, and so Starlight Road's effect negates Mirror Force's effect (different than negating the activation of Mirror Force). Following that, Mirror Force continues to activate, but without an effect. Finally, the Chain has resolved. Bottomless being a "When" means that because the last thing to happen in the chain was Mirror Force's activation and not the summon of Stardust Dragon via Starlight Road, Bottomless cannot meet the "When" criteria. Cards and their effects always resolve in the order in which they were played, therefore Bottomless could not alter the Chain to become CL1 Mirror Force, CL2 Bottomless, CL3 Starlight Road. Please correct me if I'm wrong!
@@19Rayzen96 okay thanks for the explanation. If I understand correctly. If starlight road would negate the activation of mirror force, then bottomless would work, since stardust summon would be the last thing to happen.
Sorry for being a scrub but wanted to ask why you wait for dmg step for the equip to be slapped on when the opponent swings, is it due to spell speed rulings?
Yes sort of. Only things (mostly) that can be activated in damage step are things that change attack / defense stats, or counter traps. Some monster effects obviously like gorz, trag, hearld. It stops them from book of mooning or things like that. Just ensures they have less ways to respond to it.
At 16:55 why does the effect of blackrose dragon go through? Your opponent responded with starlight road and you countered with your starlight dragon. But how does that work? Can someone pls explain this to me? :)
@@E3YuGiOh But shouldn’t the effect of blackrose be negated and destroyed by your stardust’s effect and not go through in the end and therefore not blow up the whole field?
This card deserves to be underrated cause it sucks. I tried this card many times, in theory it's kinda need, in practice the restriction of the card makes it dead so many times, still prefer skill successor over this card.
@@WeAreStageZero it’s a cool idea, and it is a second rota target but a generic level 3 non tuner is a little mid in this deck. It helps you make singular level 6 synchros, which can be good, but it doesn’t get you any closer to the full x saber combo.
@@Raminator243 It also helps out with Rescue Cat as well, since you can use it to summon out Rescue Cat and make a Gottoms or Brionic. I usually find I do not hate to see it in hand.
It is the Palestinian flag and it is ther to spread awareness on the illegal occupation of Palestine and the ongoing g*nocide of the Palestinian people.
