We love Bokksu! My 10 year old son's favorites were the Castella cake and the young ginger rice crackers. I loved the mochi and the rich chocolat! So much fun! It's like we get to travel and try new things during this pandemic.

Yeah they have. 🙂 The strawberries are also in the first box you get from Bokksu. I believe it's called Seasons of Japan Box, but I'm not sure.

I love these boxes and these reviews! Once again we got our box almost a month after the review for it went up; I hope this is only a temporary thing ☹ I really liked the tea, gummies, chili senbei, and strawberry cream cookies though. And it was my favorite mochi Bokksu has sent yet!

Hi, there is nothing wrong with your nose , everyone's nose can sometimes or often pick up different notes than other's from the same food or even drinks.that's wath makes it interesting its s bit like colers..different eyes perceived different variations of blue or greens for example, different noses and even our tongue can give us different.perceptive of what we actually ate tasting and eating with our eyes closed can sometimes amplify the actual experience of tasting ! I love Bokksu. The snacks seem more authentic and unique compared to other Japanese snack boxes that give you bags of potato chips because they have a character from some moderately popular anime on the packet.

As I understand so far, at Valentines day Girls/Women give Boys/Men chocolate, and a month later it gets reversed. At "White day" Men and Boys give chocolate back. Not only love interests. Hope thats right😃

Japan, Taiwan and South Korea celebrate White Day, where men give back white chocolates to those that gave them any. For those who had a romantic interest who gave them chocolate, it's a day to give chocolate back in response to say yes. The holiday is exactly one month after Valentine's Day, which is March 14.

We just opened this bokksu a few days ago~ Always looking forward to this subscribtion service Though I have to add that there are repeats. Not many! But from the first box, some items get used again. Like the chocolate infused strawberries

I suggest to order at regular japanese online stores to get it cheaper, most of the items are there, or look at dokodemo. These boxes are more like a beautiful present, to loved ones, or to yourself as a special treat. It's also the excitement you pay for, the surprise what ypubget and the monthly arriving is super entertaining. The package is designed beautifully, the booklet super interesting and great in it's apperiance. But if you have to look to your money, order regularly, like those pure gummis are found everywhere.

@@plejade4125 thank you for the information. I order 1-2 boxes from local boxes. I’d love to order items from these people who’ve Worked for 100 years or more. But right now I’m out on disability from my nursing job. And my cat was diagnosed 1 week ago with diabetes. Plus she’s stayed over at the vet. In one week it’s been $1000. Insulin, needles plus a special diet. Don’t ask. You mentioned some places to order. Can you name a few. Hopefully that you can order online. I live on Long Island. New York.

Oh I don't know shops in the USA I'm from europe, but I order directly in Japan at dokodemo (or dokodemo.world) but same here, over a year passed and I can't buy anything special beside wheat and noodles. To make bread and cheap filling pasta lol. Hard times nut we will get better I'm sure. Keep it up and have a nice weekend ^^//

Traditionally the man gives a girl chocolates in America but 2021 now and days a lot don’t believe in gender roles now and days anyone can give chocolates to anyone no matter who you are even expensive gifts like diamonds, perfume and cologne lol.
