For anyone who has the issue with the silicone part color in wigs; you can easily adjust them to your skin tone using alcohol activated paints. The biggest perk of using the alcohol activated paints is that they can only be removed with alcohol as well, so you don't have to worry about it running in wet conditions.

My husband had alopecia for a few months, back when he was in the military. He was under so much stress and just one day he had a half dollar size circle of missing hair on his head. After the stress went away his hair started to grow back. Some times we put ourselves in so much internal turmoil that we can make ourselves sick. I believe we have so much power with our mind. We create our reality around us and we can also be easily manipulated into creating other peoples views of reality around us. We all have our personal shadow work to do for ourselves and over come a lot in this world. I'm sending you so much love and healing energy! I experienced a bald spot like you are dealing with. I went to the dermitologist and they gave me three cycles of shots on the bald spot. It has been almost three years and my hair has finally grown to the length of the rest of my hair. I reccommend talking to your doctor! I know how it feels losing hair from stress and things and it can be really embarrassing, just know you are not alone. I love you Celina! You got this!

I'm 33 and am currently losing hair as a result of a new medication for Ankylosing Spondylitis. I've have bouts where I shed hair pretty heavily for other reasons & autoimmune disease but this is way different than anything I've experienced so I'm trying to get comfortable with having to cut it again after growing it out for a few years now. I know that I won't be able to afford a wig that is $50 or more however being able to not only see the differences you are talking about but just knowing what to look for, what I may want in a wig, etc is really helpful. I used to stack cheap Halloween wigs for costumes and stuff when I was younger so I'm wondering if stacking a couple "cheaper" wigs would be possible for me. Truthfully that was just a really long winded way to say thank you for this video lol I absolutely sat my ass here taking notes 😂 🖤

What I will say is, this will pass, and you'll eventually feel like yourself again, there's no perfect timeline. hey Celina, I too suffer from alopecia. for me it started when I was losing several family members in a short amount of time. My hairdresser noticed it when she was washing my hair and I havent actually gone back to the hairdresser since, I've just been letting my hair grow out. With grief and stress and health concerns I felt it was just another part of me I was losing. Luckily I have been able to hide the spots as my hair grew out. My spots are behind my right ear, the nape of my neck and back of my head on the left side. You are not alone. sending love, K.

The two long blonde wigs look absolutely beautiful on you😍 The warm pink in your skin is really complimented by the blonde hair and it also draws attention to your lovely dark eyes. I also love you with short hair. It's gorgeous seeing your little neck and ears and you could wear big, dangly OTT earrings. I went from being a lifelong dark brunette to a bottle blonde clippered head (shaved my head to raise money for cancer care) and the best thing about it (aside from no styling and a two second hair wash) was being able to wear bright red lipsticks and really elaborate eye makeup. It changes the lippy you can get away with because when you're dark haired you look too over the top in those orangey reds but with blonde hair it looks fab.

So I don't know what you do with the wigs you don't keep, but if you don't return them, PLEASE drop them off at a cancer treatment center. Even if they aren't great they can be a helpful way to experiment and learn what they might want without spending money they don't have.

Hey Celina ❤ Back in 2018, Alopecia severely affected me. Lost my lashes, brows and entire head of hair. And I had Long strawberry Blonde hair. I had a lot of stress going on back then. I tried some wigs but they were just too hot and itchy. I embraced the bald head and I have to admit, it was nice not having to worry about doing my hair everyday❤ I went to my dermatologist where he sprayed my head with…I think it was dry ice or something. Super cold. It did eventually grow back. Took 3 years to get a decent length. I have to admit that I’m terrified of it happening again as I’m under a ton of stress now dealing with my dad’s dementia. I have lost some of my eye brows and a tiny patch that’s easily hidden. Just try to… I could say “not stress” but that’s impossible to do. Leaning on family and friends and therapy. Smile as much as possible. Rest, meditate and do the things you LOVE doing. (Aka ALL the self-care things). ❤❤❤

Love you being vulnerable. I have always loved wigs. My 6 year old was diagnosed with Alopecia a year ago. We normalized wigs since she was very young thankfully just in case the day comes when she will no longer have her own hair. So beautiful.

i loved this so much! I'm 31 and have had alopecia sporadically since i was 17. Back then i could only find synthetic wigs that were affordable from like china on ebay (i'm in the UK) and they could not take heat and they would knot and go crusty so fast! I still wear wigs sometimes for funsies so i will be checking out some of these! As for the alopecia, if it's stress it will likely grow back, i've never had a permanent bald patch but it might feel like you suddenly lose all this hair at once but the hair cycle takes some time so by the time it's fully shed hair will already be growing back under the skin (as i understand it, am not dr) thank you for the great content as always!

I really needed this 😢 I suffer tremendously from depression episodes which are already tough enough so of course taking care of my self/hygiene gets left on the back burner and there has been times where my hair is so matted and I have to spend hours and hours pulling it apart. This last spout was the worst it has ever been and I could no longer get my hair back to how it was from the my hair being left in a tight bun for so long. I had to completely chop my hair off and of course it is so uneven and bald in some spots but my poor scalp finally has some relief. This last time was truly embarrassing and I wish I could stop doing this to myself because I love my hair and it use to be so long and healthy. I just wanted to say this video made me feel seen in a way because I’ve been thinking about maybe getting a wig or two just to help with my self esteem when it’s needed. Thank you for the advice.

#1 favorite for you was the 1st one. The color & cut were perfect for your fun & edgy personality, skin tone & framed your face really well. Not perfect, but definitely a favorite! 2nd favorite was the pea green option, though it would look better in a different color. (unless you need pea green for something specific, then it’s spot on) Now I’m not sure if it was the lighting, but all of the blonde ones washed you out completely…except the ‘2000 Britney’ blonde pink one. Honorable mentions go to the short bright orange one & the long plum option as they just had a fun vibe. Last mention goes to the crazy black rocker wig. It 100% fit your personality & would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE you to wear it on a ghost hunting trip!!!

I really like that you got serious for a moment and acknowledged Alopecia. Even though I personally don't have it and don't care for my hair, I know it's very important for others and their identity and these wigs can bring some confidence back

As someone who suffers with stress related alopecia it's not nice but there are creams and shampoos you can get from a doctor that helps it and I'd advise you to avoid wearing your hair in tight ponytails or buns as that can makes it worse but once the stress goes it will get better 😊 you look amazing x
