I simultaneously agree and disagree. When I used to use traditional shampoos, certain ones left my hair feeling completely stripped and dried out. But, yes, once you have a regimen that your hair responds well to, everything becomes so much easier.
I completely agree. Lifelong natural and have been using VO5 shampoo all of my 43 years and my hair is absolutely gorgeous. It's not the product you use, it's the hair you have. I say this as a former hair model.
I’m a guy regrowing my hair. Had locs for 7 years and kinda neglected them. Cut off last year April. Started growing back out in September. I’m at 4 inches now which is exciting just want to say thank you. Your videos have been informational. Been doing plaits for the past couple months and I feel like it’s definitely helped to grow/ retain length.
That's exactly how I used to care for my hair in the 90s. I did micros w my real hair and kept them in 2mo, washing them every week. Then I'd go to the beauty shop for a roundbrush blowout or rollerset and trim, wear it for a week or two, then a wash & go for 2 weeks, then back to natural mircos. My hair was on my elbows in its shrunken state.
I started doing this but I switched to braiding the roots and 2 strand twist to the bottom. It s easier to moisturize/wash it for me. With the braids, whenever i unbraided to deep condition, I realized it wasnt penetrating the inside of the braid but thats my experience. Looking forward to your watching your journey
@@Whoiszoey1113 wow that goes to show you what works for some may not work for the rest. I cant imagine the hydrating shampoo leaving the hair dry. Maybe the clarifying one by itself maybe 🤷🏾♀️ but that’s all clarifying shampoos lol
They weren’t using it right. I have 4C hair first I emulsified the product and it went on my butter. You dont have to use so much people were using way too much.
@SharatiaBanks I just stored my hair journey...I m excited..and I know I ne3d 2 be patient. I M committed this time round to going all natural n getting my hair to he healthy again..strong...n long.Wish me luck sis
The day Cécred sponsors me, I will be forever joyful. However, ‘Twas not a paid promotion but after trying the products I def endorse that hydrating shampoo 🤗🤗 and thanks so much! I’m happy you enjoyed my art ❤️🥹 @honey77777
Indeed! I’ve had this style in for 3 months now. I wash them weekly and I redo each plait every 4-5 weeks. I’m planning on redoing the whole style in a couple of weeks so switch up the parting
How do you wash your hair with braids without the root’s getting all tangled up together? i’ve struggled with that for so long and i don’t want to have to take out my braids every week😭
I think in this case, It’s not necessarily the curl pattern, but moreso your hair porosity and thickness when it comes to products, I feel like if you have medium or high porosity, then you’d love the deep conditioner. The shampoos are good for all hair types.
The power of touch and knowing your hair. I can feel it. It’s not like the clarifying shampoo, or other regular shampoo. As I was lathering, the ends felt moisturized.
@@chaunseybillings5381 lol. Just say you’re apart of the BeyHive cause that doesn’t make sense. This video was posted Apr 16.. her first wash day ain’t post til Apr 22 (which she didn’t do any of this) and her 2nd wash day was posted 2 weeks ago, Sept 9🤔
