Another TS-940 Issue. Is it a bad component? Poor solder joint?, Gremlins? No, it something even more sinister in this radio. One of the 10 zillion connectors has an intermittent contact.
Ready to do mine, when you semi-retire? lol I will do some testing and record my readings. I have to make or rob a few jumpers and use the watt meter in line with the TS-850. I have no test equipment, other the an ohms meter and a Kenwood SW-2000 meter. At least I can see what my output is in cw and ssb modes.
Nevermind, you had it on high later on...I had the same problem once. Thought I had a major problem...but had a nephew turn a knob...my kids don't touch my radios, so it was a simple output problem that was laughable once fixed.
