It uses extensive, elaborate Methods in Rituals, Offerings, Meditation Methods, Teachings etc. When japanese Zen Buddhism is very minimalistic, dry and simple in Appearance, tibetan Buddhism is the complete Opposite, a vast elaborate baroque Universe of thousand armed Buddhas. The unique thing is tibetan Buddhism is heavily influenced by the Pre Buddhistic shamanistic indigenous Bon Religion, so it is very esoteric.
