This demo simulates a bone plate being machined complete all in one operation out of round bar stock material. We start by feeding out material to prep a milled block which will then be supported by the sub spindle to do all machining work.
Once the block has been prepped, we do an additional feed out with enough material for machining the part complete. Then we bring in the sub to clamp on the prepped block to maintain rigidity.
The part then gets machined complete and milled off one side to then have the sub do a release and clamp operation to do final cut off. Once the second end is milled off, we bring out a Shunk griping holder to pick up the part and eject into the conveyor drop box finalizing a complete part in one operation.
