Praised by Dante himself, slapping sense into self-entitled anger issue patients and generally just being awesome and honestly caring...way to go, friend.
I always get a kick out of the thought of a Salamander stepping in front of Krieg soldier to shield them and just being like "hey, you matter too bud" - and then just the sounds of quiet sobbing behind a gasmask.
@@mikecampos1193 We would like that, but they tend to find our burial rites and chapter traditions distasteful. It gets awkward when they accuse us of heresy after spying upon us burning ourselves in the funeral pyers to honor our fallen. Not violent so much, just awkward.
One of my fondest memories of this character is when he beat the ever-living piss out of a Marine's Malevolent after he ordered an artillery strike on a civilian village.
@@stevenvaughn7159 Other than being mutant monsters and pretty clearly doing some shady business to hide the abnormalities in their geneseed? Nothin' really. Pretty normal, if a bit extra aggressive chapter.
I've taken up to making my own, with a terminator captain from the blood angels with a greenstufff cape and some peices of dinosaur from the Lizardmen, and ofc a wielding a thunderhammer :D
Tu’ Shan is what any salamander should be in these dark times. He is a noble warrior whose bleeding heart is by far the most closest to his Primarch Vulkan. He is a powerful warriors who compared to centuries old chapter masters like Dante and Calgar, but who example of the promethium cult is second only to his Primarch.
I was there when the Chapter Master disciplined one of the captains of the Marines Malevolent. Later he said and I quote, “I laid the bastard out with a single blow, for that will be a scar lingering upon him for the entirety of his tenure.
These boys and the Wolves are my favorites , oddly they along with the Blood angels are the most human of the chapters. They are the farthest removed by quirks of geneseed yet the closest in personality.
40k needs more lore on salamanders as they know that the smaller humans are worth protecting and saving, i'm sure many salamander players will understand, a bit Vulkan's fire burns brightly in all of us! Thank you again Baldermort for giving us another Amazing video, you always tell us to make time for fun but make sure you do to :)
'An epic end to a Sunday evening, with a single malt scotch, and an epic tale from the dulcet tones of Lord Scribe Valdermort' - Ennnnnd QUOTE. It's a cruel world.
I've said this elsewhere before but when, and I repeat WHEN Papa Vulkan returns to the Empirium I want Vulkan to offer a gift to Tu'Shan for his stellar service. Tu'Shan, being the guy he is, only requests a handshake from Vulkan. Vulkan proceeds to embrace him and then Tu'Shan cries.
Spanning the full spectrum of fire, from destruction and death, to comfort and hope, and all in-between... It takes a true child of the Flame. A Salamander.
Tu Shan, I salute you. Your service to the Emperor and its people shines brighter than the flames of Mount Deathfire itself. This guy truly gets what really matters in any empire once you stop detaching yourself with numbers: its people.
I can't express the happiness I feel wen listening to this video as others have done it better then I but I thank you from the bottom of my Nocturnian Hart may the flames of mount deathfire be forever in your favor
@@molliethomas2585Vinyard forgot the n°1 rule of fighting a Salamander in close quarters: do NOT fight a Salamander in close quarters (unless you are one of Khorne's boys). The Sallies are a good head taller than the other space marines and a good chunk stronger and tankier. They hit HARD.
This Guy and Pedro Cantor would be the best of friends. The sons of Dorn and Vulcan share the same relationships as their fathers. Truly one of my favorite relationships in the 40k universe.
"Their actions may well be the most important of all and possibly even, be more important than that of even the Ultramarines" Finally! Somebody said it!
Baldermort, the Chaos God of Content, has once again BLESSED US MORTALS with the lore of the most noble, most blessed by the Emperor (and my favorite) Astartes chapter
I'm always a loyal follower of the White Scars. However, I can respect the honor and love the Salamanders have and give to their empire and their citizens. Let's burn trails on our enemies!
"Da green clad 'umies know to mosh so we needs to mosh even 'arder! And neva mind da 'ot air! WAAAGH!" Urk'zokk Rockthroowaaagghh chanting on his Nobz before clashing into a Squad of Salamander Terminators that defends a group of imperial civilians with covering fire of their heavy flamers. I love the Salamanders so much great work on their lore.🤘😉👍
Mr Baldemort I started listening to your stories when you had 3k subscribers and continued to listen. I was completely sure you would have no less than 100k by the end of the year. Thank you for the good stories, you truly have a good voice for the grimdark universe that is 40k.
It’s refreshing that the setting has a chapter like the Salamanders. Were all chapters as callous as Black Templar’s or the Iron Hands, the setting would be insufferably dark, without relief and ultimately, boring. I totally agree with Ser Baldermort on this: the salamanders are true heroes in the grim darkness.
The greatest power of the Salamanders is morale. They show citizens that someone in the Imperium truly cares, that someone is willing to stand with them. Space marines are amazingly effective, but there are a lot more common soldiers, merchants, logistical officers, engineers and even brave citizens. With a mix of technological knowhow and empowering presence, they are like dragons leading an army. But how much more powerful are these troops if they are steady and sure, how much more can they accomplish with sheer numbers and determination. That is the lesson of the Salamanders: the flame of hope lies in every human, the greatest space marines are those that know how to kindle it.
Man, what a great start to the day. I love Vulkan and the salamanders. Huge fanboy and my favorite lore expert has made a video about them. Brings a tear to my eye. Vulkan lives!!!! Stomp! Stomp!!!!!!!
Dude I actually love your voice, whenever I watch your videos it feels as though I have been transported into the very scenes you describe. Thanks to you I've been able to expand my knowledge on the war hammer 40k universe. Thank you
I am. But they take ages. So I can’t do them every week and stay sane. Not enormous go time. Honestly, the huge ones can be over 100 hours of work. That much
This is a man all of us should aspire to be!! That and he can drop another Marine with just a single punch... and that is why I would want to stay in his good books!
7:08, okay, THAT’S just Vulkan. That book was my first real foray into 40k literature. An awesome book, to be sure. Nothing gets me going quite like hordes of Orks getting murdered
I love you Balders, and wish to have your babies. Tu'Shan should have rules for 40K, but nah, GW consider it more important to have named Ultramarine Sergeants than actual Chapter Masters of other First Founding Chapters.... Go figure....
Just tossing this out there. The Imperium would have sooooooooo many less problem if Baldermort was a high lord. No way the Warp could handle this mans level of wholesomeness.
"They show the citizenry that they are valued, whereas the administratum and the ministorum may not, well, definitely *do* not." - With all due respect Baldermort, this is ENTIRELY unfair, they have clearly and definitively valued each and every Imperial Citizen as at least equal to that of a bar of the commonly and slanderously named "corpse starch", for...unrelated reasons.
In DoW i played Salamanders and my friend plays Dark Angels - post Primarch but pre Luthor no sneaky! Jump packs, flamers, meltas, up close and deep with heavy casualties. The thing with hot metal is it bends, it stretches, but it does...not...break! What is the secret of steel? Is it Fire or Ice? It is both. Heavy armour plunges it's cold steel deep into the burning heart of the battle and cleaves the enemy vanguard in twain! I gather my injured fighters and make sure they cannot outflank him, taking to the air on columns of flame like Phoenix from the ashes. Is there any more where Vulcan and The Lion cross paths? I'd love to hear It!
