Man!!! After studying his tapes, just WOW!.......his ability to make adjustments that quick in the pocket under pressure is mind boggling. This kid is making already history.
Pretty sure his years of practice have everything to do with it and not his imaginary friend. How arrogant of these athletes to think some god that lets 25k children starve to death daily gives a shit about sports. 😄
@@joelramos3504 Insulting religious beliefs is flawed? Lmao. You are an absolute imbecile. Insulting ridiculous mythology is necessary, and religion should be mocked into nonexistence. You vile cretins giving credit to imaginary sky wizards rather than doctors who spend their lives studying and advancing the human condition is disgusting. Fucking clowns.
I'm an LSU fan. During the championship game, I wanted Alabama to lose. Alabama was doing so bad that I changed the channel towards the end of first half. I switched back when I heard they put in Tua. When he passed 3 TDs, I really did think that Alabams deserves the win. With a comeback and QB like that, Alabama deserves it. Tua is a legend. I haven't seen a good championship game like that in a long time. Especially one with a freshmen QB who took his team back to win. This is the Waterboy coming back at halftime to help the Mud Dawgs win the game haha
Amazes me how many people say with certainty that Tua will or won't be great! We simply don't know the future, but one thing we do know for sure is he is grounded, humble, intelligent, and can throw the ball more accurately than virtually any other QB I've ever seen. Give him a decent running game and strong o-line and he has every chance to be one of the great QBs.
Finally Alabama has a quarterbac God. There will no longer be Room for a game manager. So be proud Alabama fans the sports gods have smiled upon you Because never in the history of Alabama have you ever seen this type of talent At the quarterback position
My favorite part of this video is when his father gave him a big hug and said i love you. What a relief it is for families and team. Awesome Job Offense Line and Defense Line. I heard the saying Football is all about the linesmen. No good blocking no football winning.
more impressive throws and pocket presence in little playing time than jalen has had in 2 years. anyone questioning who our starting qb is is delirious
The way he plays he could possibly end up the best qb Alabama has ever had. And we've had great NFL qbs in the past like Joe Namath but the talent is so much greater in this time. This guy came in as a freshman and was instrumental in us winning that game. He has more years to improve and get better imagine if we had a real good offensive coordinator.
I am a huge Alabama fan and he is probably my all time favorite QB in program history. That's my opinion. Great video on my new favorite player! #17Champs
@@rolltideking2056 I think Tua will be Alabama greatest QB when he's done..when I see Tua I see greatness.. hopefully he stay healthy thru out the season and defend the title this year
Its not hard to imagine Tua starting and quickly building up a big lead that Jalen then defends, bringing home the victory. Hurts eats up the clock with the steady turnover-free play he is known for. Not garbage minutes but real play keeping opponents' offenses off the field. Both play, and both play an important role. Alabama wins. Like that sc Mario better that alternating a la UofF with Tebow. By the way, folks fail not to realize during Tua's record-breaking senior years he beat both Chang's and Mariota's high-school records, won the Hawaii State High School Championship ( undefeated) and won the Elite 11 MVP. In high school he threw for 3,932 passing yards with 42 touchdowns and only 3 interceptions. He is much better at taking care of the ball than it appeared in the College national championship. My 2 cents....
First off this honestly is one of the best pound for pound highlight videos I have ever seen...WOW! you have you a new subscriber....with that being said I don't know why but looking at this got me emotional, didn't cry but was on the verge LOL...for multiple reasons but I believed this young man was truly special n I felt in my heart that he needed to be the QB for Alabama when he touched down n then when I saw him in the spring game it was most assuredly comfirmed (again this is MY opinion)....this is in ABSOLUTELY no way disrespect aimed towards Jalen bc I greatly appreciate all he has done...but sometimes it is what it is...but to see these highlights n remember EVERY Saturday n wanting to see the swap happen to FINALLY the 2nd half of the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, makes you go WOW....this makes you TRULY appreciate Tua's journey, maturity, humbleness, skill set, n most important his undeniable love for GOD...Tua ALL of BAMA NATION greatly appreciate you for choosing the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa! Continue to stay humble n hungry..I know i don't have to also tell you but will anyway HA...continue to keep GOD 1st! #justMYthoughts #ROLLTIDE #DYNASTY #TrustTheProcess #Saban #Tua #RoadTo18
Being from Hawaii I was always a Bama and Patriots fan because of there Defenses and Coaches. I've also been following Tua since he was a Sophomore in High school. When Tua won the Elite 11 i was so proud of him then in May announced he was going to Bama I was so proud of him. Then I found out that Brian Daboll was coming to Bama also and i was in heaven. I also watched the Spring game and entire season just to watch if Tua was put in the game. Allot of the freshmen like Najee, Jerry, including Devonta Smith where at either the Elite 11 or the Army all-american game with Tua. On a couple of the Elite 11 episodes while Tua was in the huddle before breaking the huddle Tua and the players would say "GOD IS GOOD?" and everyone else would say "ALL THE TIME!" Tua makes everyone around him better and I'm glad that he's at Alabama and that he has fans like you. But the hell with Brian Daboll I never herd of him being with the Patriots until Saban hired him lol. ROLLTIDETUA
Great video of Tua's emergence as the best NCAAF QB of this Generation and of Alabama's Coach Nick Saban's Team History a unique skillset and talent that he has not had as a QB since his arrival as the Crimson Tide Coach. They will set NCAAF Records that will be hard to duplicate. Roll Tide!
many forget that he hardly played any FULL games, usually three quarters and he was done. So his stats need to be interpreted by how many quarters he played then you will see how great his numbers really are!
Alabama is like a mick Vick to me. Not how they play but how everytime I watch them it's like a energy wave just hit me. Liek everything they do is amazing. They hype up everything no mater what.
Predicting; depending on the Coach, if Tua starts, Bama one of the explosive offenses of Big Colleges, if not top 3 in nation. But really was impressed with Georgia's Fromm, but Bama's offense could actually explode w Tua at the helm!
IF... what if Alabama lose 2 games. If Tua starts it's the beginning of the end for Alabama. Offensive Linemen leaving, the locker room divided. I love Nick but if Alabama loses games, it's on him. If he has plans to start Tua he should not have let the media and fans disgrace Jalen. He should have taken up for the kid and said, he's my quarterback. The first game we would know who the starter is.
@@chief9116 you need to stick to your day job. You know nothing about football. Not even enough to comment on these goofy videos. Its 5 weeks into the 2018 season and your comment looks even more ridiculous.
All I can say is Bama hit the jackpot with Tua. Did Saban really know how good Tua is as QB? Bama has never really had elite NFL type quarterbacks. Joe Namath and McCarron would probably be an exception. Tua is a naturally gifted quarterback who has big hands to help him throw dimes in tight windows. Tua also has quick eyes which allows him to survey the entire field. Tua also has a gift of anticipation. He anticipates when the receivers are going to make their breaks. His passes are extremely accurate and on time unlike Jalen Hurts. Tua can also quickly read defenses faster than Hurts and can make adjustments at the scrimmage line. Tua also has a quick release throwing the ball. Almost like a Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers. I just think Tua is too good to be backing up Jalen Hurts. We all saw that the little improvements Jalen made in his passing wasn't enough to overcome his ineptness to identify defensive schemes, throwing on time, and going through full progression surveying the field. I know some say Jalen got Bama to the national championship I totally disagree with this statement. Bama got to the national championship in spite of Jalen Hurts as quarterback.
Another Samoan QB in the name of DJ Uiagalelei play for St John Bosco CA there #1 high school in the nation right now and he's Samoan just like Tua..he like Alabama and couldn't imagine a many more titles for Alabama if he committ to the Tide come 2020 when Tua is leaving
Everyone knew, he was the most sought after quarterback in the nation with virtually every Division 1 school offering a scholarship. Was expected to go to USC since it is closest to Hawaii but Saban being the best recruiter in history of game the place to best display his talent was on the best team in college football: ALABAMA. But what he has done blows the mind as he has actually taken an Alabama team with 5 of the last 9 national titles and lifted that team to a new level. That would have seemed impossible but this kid has done it. Also the Elite 11 , the best QB camp in the nation where all the best qbs train, Trent Dilfer before this kid played one down of college said THIS KID WILL BE THE MOST AMAZING QUARTERBACK IN COLLEGE HISTORY, NO QB HAD EVER SHOWN THE MIND, THE TOUCH , THE ARM STRENGTH THIS KID HAS AND EVEN SAID THE FIRST YEAR HE STARTS HE EXPECTS HIM TO WIN THE HEISMAN AND NEVER LOOK BACK. IN OTHER WORDS, NO MYSTERY, THIS KID HAS BEEN A STUD SINCE HE WAS 8 YEARS OLD.
Bama would have gone undefeated in 2017 had Tua been the starter. No diss to Jalen but Tua just throws the rock better. I feel sorry for the SEC for the next 3 years cuz it’ll be Tua time till he graduates.
Hamoanese ive been said that hes gonna tear up the SEC and spit em out like trash, Alabama could have gone undefeated this season has Tua was the starter. another samoan heisman in the making
Tua will go down as one of the greatest QB's in Alabama history, maybe even College Football. Can't wait to see the offense next season when he gets a full season starting. Roll Tide
Tua has all of the natural tangibles to be a great QB. He has massive hands (10.13 inches), quick eyes, and his ability to process information at a rapid pace is mind boggling. Watch how quick he goes through his progression. However, Tua greatest asset is his anticipation skills. This is what separate Tua from Jalen Hurts. In almost every throw Tua anticipated when the receiver was going to break. Tua can also read the defensive scheme quickly and make adjustments. Tua made freshmen mistakes in 2017 but his talent level is off the chart. There shouldn't be any QB controversy at Bama if based on pure overall talent and dual threat capabilities. Tua can run and consistently throw with pinpoint accuracy. Jalen can run and is inconsistent with his passes. Where is the controversy?
Oh please, pull here. Only 1 person in the world knew the MSU players were after him and could have threw it away. Tua and Tua only was responsible for putting a 2nd string QB with 1 start in against a good Aub team that almost certainly prevented AL from replaying LSU in the 2019 NC game.
Good luck to this Southpaw at the next level - I will be watching this young man play for Miami hopefully for many years to come. He looks like Russell Wilson throwing left handed.
