@Archie Bunker realistically, eliminating borders would be one of the last things accomplished by a libertarian president. By the time we got to that point, the country would look very different. Don’t fault the party for one issue you might disagree with. Besides that, they’re big states rights advocates, CA, AZ, NM, TX want a strong border? Libertarian federal government wouldn’t intervene.

Tucker is one of the only reporters who simply tells it how it is. He goes after everyone who is attmepting to deceive (which is all career politicians) the populace and gets facts out there. Of course, he has a bit of fun with it, too, or it can get too depressing. The left really does demonize Tucker, and it shows just how correct Tucker is. If everyone on the left hates someone, it's more than likely its because the person exposes them for the malicious con artists they are. They don't like that very much. Occurs a lot with people on the right, too.

@ALICO1 Praise No-thing I think you mean non-authoritarian. There must be some law of course but what should it be based on is the question. What are the limits and proper functions. Libertarians and most classical liberals of the Republican or Democrat variety generally agree on Natural individual universal rights (as in freedoms from intervention in natural capacities so long as they don't interfere with others) and to some degree the principle of consent or the non-aggression principle. Libertarians just take it to limits, not to have no law but as few as are necessary for a free society of self responsible adults, with the acknowledgement that people who are not of the age of consent cannot be held fully responsible by society or the law. Basically it boils down to do as you judge fit as long as you interfere with another against their will or an unconsenting third party. Don't hit people or take their stuff essentially but some people don't want the responsibility that accompanies freedom.

@@Monaleenian True enough. It seems such a society would also produce more honest people because of the inherent incentives and disincentives of a legal system which is founded on personal accountability and the principle of consent. It's not happening anytime soon but it's still the right idea.

The Libertarian Party was ruined. It is a clown show now, and the change was not an accident. People made sure that the party will not win big elections or even get large numbers of votes in them. The party's current leaders are part of that effort.

Funny you say that. I used to sit and talk to Andrew Breitbart back in the early 90s at a bar in Hollywood. He had no idea what he was gonna do with his life at that point.
