He also evaded on the question of an FBI investigation, which is the only thing that could have prevented it from being a he said she said stalemate. His answers re "Renate" were deliberately off point and misleading, and from what I see on Reddit, he was misleading in his translation of the terms he used in Facebook. I think it is entirely possible he was too drunk to remember the assault, but I think Mark Judge remembers alright. Too bad we will never know because the Repubs rejected an investigation and subpeonaing the most important witness.

And had to "muster up the courage" to fly to DC. Yet she has flown numerous times to visit her parents once a year, to her Grandmother's funeral, for work and on several vacations. That doesn't sound like a person that has a legitimate fear of flying. 3... She first said she walked home from the party. But when she found out it would have been between 6-8.2 miles, she changed her story. Furthermore, she doesn't know who took her and who pick her up from the party. And NO ONE has came forward to say they are the driver. You'd think someone would remember her being clearly upset on the way to her home? Even her best friend whom she says was at this party. Said she didn't know what she was talking about. And submitted a sworn statement. Judge would not be a credible witness, due to his alcoholism and drug abuse. What makes you think he has legitimate memories from 36 years ago, after damaging his brain chemicals with drugs and alcohol? She also described her leaving the bedroom in an odd way, who says "the flight or fight kick in and the norepinephrine and epinephrine carried her out"?? Huh? Who gives a clinical answer to a traumatic experience? That rings false to me. Plus there is at least two men who have contacted the committee and confessed essentially to the incident. There are too many holes in her story that can not be answered no matter who investigated it. I believe something may have happened to her. I think she is simply projecting those feelings on to Judge Kavanaugh. I do not believe she believes he is the one who did it. This is a disgrace and Judge Kavanaugh's life long record does not align with this incident.
