They're often doing lots of lampooning and satire and setting up scenarios that never happened for comedic effect, of course...but *this* was uncannily similar to what actually happened. I laughed but also felt deeply unsettled that this was reality...I still do. It is stunning that a candidate (guilty or innocent) had an almost complete melt down, sweating, crying, shouting, truculently refusong to answer questions and rudely throwing them back at Senators.....and still was given a lifetime seat on the Supreme Court. It boggles the mind.

He was asked repeatedly if he would support an FBI investigation & dodged the question. If they really wanted to embarrass the guy they should’ve just played the actual hearing. This guy is a fucking piece of shit, but looking at America, it doesn’t surprise me that he’s doing so well.
