The world of watchdom will say I’m nuts but this is the best looking Tudor. As you alluded to, the bronze makes it look subtler. The dial adds to this and the Chilean strap is exactly right.
The bronze case just accentuates that gorgeous dial. My all time favorite. I wish i would have waited to get the one instead of the blue dial, steel case. Moral of the story...wait.
I love it. 113 grams is not bad. Many high end G Shocks are heavier. Bronze is 9% heavier than Stainless and 39% heavier than titanium. I love the no date and the drilled lugs.
Great review thanks. I love this watch and that strap is perfect. I would have bought one in a heartbeat until I saw the thickness of it. My thickest watch is a Cartier Roadster and that's about 10mm so this one is a definite no for me. It's not all bad though, as I now have a new "go to" for watch straps thanks.
Martu Straps are awesome. Just keep in mind there is usually a lead time because she hand makes them. She usually does a really good Thanksgiving? Sale. Sometime in the fall. Highly recommended
Tudor is great value and most models are beautiful- they all done always loose a huge amount but they do go down in value a bit which is an even better buy
Tudor did slim down the 41mm BB, just revealed in Geneva. Rounded, slimmer case, and METAS certified movement. It's a legit Omega SMP alternative now. Let's see if that trickles down to bronze models.
Always loved this watch, not the lug width. Size otherwise is fine, but 23mm? I never understood those odd unusually uncommon widths, 19, 21, 23?? For me I always felt this sizing should be standardized and I don’t think that extra mm of lug width makes any difference for that 1 mm increase in case size.
No way ! Raw metal block. You can have reservations about Seiko Samurai, Tudor is a return to the Stone Age. When it comes to Seiko Samuraj, the visual appearance after wearing the bracelet changes everything. Creates a new watch type. It becomes more square and much smaller than this TUDOR. I was wondering how something like this could be sold for such a price. Well, marketing does its job. Celebrity advertising and an echo of a Rolex that ROLEX itself distances itself from.
@@Melontheyoutuber xD Have you seen the $250k Grand Seiko ? It’s still Seiko. The price of the Tudor comparable to the Rolex is not justified. It can’t be explained except that you think you have “almost a Rolex” xD
@@4AllUSa lol or you just love the watches? Tudor offers something complete unique and different to the Rolex offering. I have this watch with the blue dial and it’s to die for, I can afford the submariner this watch in the bronze is stunning. The dial is so much more interesting, i get comments on mine almost daily. Rolex is so cliche at this point. To each their own
I would never bought it either,I just don't get it,SuB copy with plain and boring case, sterile dial and cheap bezel(all in the name of retro look allegedly), don't get me started on QC issues with Tudor in last five years.
@@dado380 lol me either. I can afford a sub bro I have this watch blue dial it’s so much more interesting than a sub. Everyone had a Rolex 🙄 pretty cliche here in San Francisco at this point
