I’ve never been a fan of Tula fabric because it’s too busy for me, but you used it to perfection. The flamingo blocks are just busy enough to be quite interesting and that sashing takes the quilt over the top! I love, love, love how you used the black and white stripe as an accent. You are an extremely talented person with an eye for color and design.

Glad to see a quilt with borders that are different on top and bottom from sides. I get comments about that from other quilters. I like my quilts rectangular not square. Love your quilt. Great fabric selections

Beautiful quilt, very Springy". I would not have stitched in the ditch though. I used to hand quilt and wanted to be able to see it. Even now though I have someone machine quilt for me, I still feel the stitching is important and adds to the overall look.
What a gorgeous quilt! In my humble opinion it’s difficult to work with Tula fabric. It’s so bright and busy, and at times, bizarre. You’ve done an excellent job AND with no pattern!!!!! You’re a genius!!!!!
1st time watching. I’m a Kaffe Fasset fabric quilter & I just discovered Tula Pink. Today my “Besties” bundle & 12 polka dot fat quarters arrived & I am looking for inspiration. Beautiful quilt, very well explained & end result is amazing. 😍
Very nice work Nora. I think Tula Pink is a bit bright for me also but I also kind of like it at times. I think using all Tula Pink is a wise choice. Much success to you this year. Seeing the results of this quilt, I have to say, you are truly exceptional at design Nora. The way you did it- the quilt is interesting, but not busy. It is colorful, yet calming. Great balance.
Wow this turned out really nice I love how the center square turned out.....I'm going to try this with some mermaid fabric I have but put wonky stars and hexies if I can make it work
I love Tula Pink, and some of her fabrics pair beautifully together. I think she does have a mini stripe print--might be what's coming out in the next release in the next month or so. I'm not sure if it is already out or an older print, but I'm pretty sure there is one. Just like her dots have a big version and a little version. These are some cool construction ideas! What was used for the backing?
