That onboard footage! I was clenching through those corners! With the lights, and the sky, and the music, and the crowds cheering...it felt like racing into the future...
Bro I went to a shop in midtown Manhattan and spoke with the brother there. He’s so proud of you, being a fellow countryman. Had you all over the displays in the store. While not from Belize, I take pride in the fact that you’re out there representing for the black community. Ride proud and great work as always guys. Much love from uptop NYC 🙌🏾💪🏾
next level bike control and handling through those last corners at such high speed. watching justin, there's just no wasted movement or energy; so damn smooth throughout
@@nationsnumber1beast you all might not know just how inspirational you are. Same boat as Matthew over here. As a black man I have not often come across many other who look like me who are involved in the sport of cycling let alone leading the way. I have learned so much following you all.. Signed up for my first 3 crits for this summer. Best of luck with the season and hopefully I am able to say hello in Littleton. Stay blessed and highly favored!
@@Spacesuit_Charlie keep it up and lots of fun in the races. This sport needs to be more inclusive and needs a younger audience, its way to crazy how strong and fast this sport is. After the TDF a lot of Pros go to Crit-Races. I was lucky and visited one in my hometown the Bora-Hansgrohe Team was there. The speed was out of this world and what i most remember was the wind suction after they passed by....
@@nationsnumber1beast Well what a coincidence because I didn't see anyone get "Bumped hard enough to make their bars go sideways" so this should have been "children's play" right?........ just asking for a friend🤭🤭🤭
Tour of California has been gone/canceled for years. It would be interesting to watch Legion in a world tour level road race. Based upon how they did at the USA Nationals road race, getting their best placing rider only 12th amongst a continental pro field (not world tour) it is evident that they would be severely outclassed at the world tour level. That said, it is a bit like comparing apples and sinks as a 1 hour criterium is quite a different animal than a 4-6 hour road race, let alone a week(s) long grand tour. That said, they have found a way to use 4 strong FTP riders to glue the peloton together and ensure a bunch sprint for their sprinters. This is the formula for the puzzle that is criterium racing, weld the field together and 80+% of the time your sprinters will be able to assure the win, baring getting tangled up in any crashes. Legion has solved the puzzle for 1 hour criteriums but would stand no chance in the entirely different sport that is world tour road races. Though impressive, we must remember they are racing primarily amateur riders with full time jobs. No less, I would love to see them given the chance to race flat road races versus world tour level talent. At least, then the discussion could be put to rest as to just how great they are.
@@robertandrews7415 Agreed. Legion are fantastic crit racers with amazing team cohesion in an hour long criterium, but road racing is an entirely different animal. That said, they do have great talent and team skills that with the proper training for longer road racers would be really cool to see.
@@robertandrews7415 2019 was the last Amgen Tour of California right ? I might be wrong. What do you mean years? Everyone have to start somewhere right and this team is going the right way. Those Wiliams brothers are very strong and I'm sure if given the chance they would love to compete in AMgen Tour of California when it comes back. Hopefully?
From 4:11 to 4:21 of the video, the racers shadows on the ground had my nerves jumpy AF !!! IN MY DJ KHALED VOICE, WE THE BEST !!! @nationsnumber1beast !
I was in good position going into the last turn when someone came around me on the outside. No space means I hit the ground but it’s like that sometimes. Next time!
How do u not win when u sit in the entire race and dont not have to fight for position. Those 3 dudes that do all your work deserve bonuses for that weekend. Amazing team
The problem is if there’s a break no one will help us chase it back so it’s what we have to do to make sure the race doesn’t get out of control. Teams are teaming up!
