I'm so sick of politics. It used to be every 2 or even 4 years the slanderous commercials would come around. Now it's every fucking day for 4 years straight! It's basically all the time! Where's the brakes? Where's the breaks?
Yeah it's u man.... Ur algorithm is fucked. I get 0. U watch em and play into them so they keep coming. Mine was like that during the trump election in 2016... Finally said nah and started ignoring everything. I don't get shit anymore
Maybe because politics literally just means running a country, you live in a political country fella, maybe move to nigeria with the pirates and you won’t have to worry about government influence
Facebook for sure. They're collecting so much GD data the know how long you scroll for. What pictures/post you stop to read even if you don't click on them. Not to mention listening to conversations. But Tik Tok is the boogie man because it's owned by big daddy the CCP! Which I don't like Tik Tok but all the US wants to do is collect all of that data so they can use it and sell it.
Government uses security to get stuff passed that you don't know about.. That is a big problem to give the government more authority over you.. She fought for this country she been in the government she knows what she talking about. Democrats didn't like her because they couldn't control her. She was actually there for the people like you.
Why can’t congress just write a bill that bans tic tock every bill they try to pass ends up with tons of shit that has nothing to do with the original bill
Because it’s never about what they want you to think it’s about. Tik tok and national security are the attention grabbers to have people focus on. But like tulsi said, you have to read the fine print to truly understand what they are trying to do.
Been a mess for a long time, only way you're gonna put a dent in this thing is voting for your local gov. and hoping they represent you and your community fairly.
@@more.art.less.war. Never will happen. Never. The utter lack of unity by society in mass, especially in municipal environments and more local politics; too many people with bigger pride and selfishness, than willing to look toward the betterment of the community. For the community.
If you want trump in the highest power seat of our country after throwing a fit for losing an election sending people to attack our capitol, you probably should do a little soul searching or move to russia where that is how they run their country. We don't put people in power who will throw a fit and try to hold onto power by any means.
I still think she a wolf in sheep’s clothing. She’s just smart enough to pick the right stance. Just to say she’s middle so she doesn’t get labeled or go down as a dem. Comes off all about personal gain and playing the game.
@@MediaLieDetector most likely. She has that vibe. Weird that people fall for the dumbest stuff. They say one thing that sounds good and want her in higher positions lol.
No its not, thats Trump talking points. Go look at the record amounts of people turned away, sent back to their country. The border is so wide open that texas had put razor wire along it's border and had been watching it like hawk's.
For real. Over the last year or two it feels like the podcast just rotates the same 50 guests over and over. There are so many interesting people out there Joe, let’s get some fresh faces in here for once.
As long as this show has been around he's had regulars: Ari Shaffir, Graham Hancock, I could listen a dozen or more that go way back to the like 240p days. Tulsi is even somewhat of an OG on this show at this point. I can tell big politics is about to put her to use for 1 party or the other (or the other, got RFK now) but up until now she's always been pretty populist and on-point (for a politician)
Hey I'll take Graham Hancock. At least this time he had a debate with (the best dressed archaeologist with definitely not a Flintstone character's name) Flint Dibble!
Probably been said in comments before, but this really comes down to the inability of Americans to be involved in their children's lives. I wouldn't allow any child under the age of 16 to have access to TikTok or any social media.
They can get geo-fencing info and track down people concerning Jan 6, but they cannot track and arrest anyone caught on camera during the 'summer of love' prior. Or, they are immediately released after seen on camera committing actual crimes, including damaging government property.
I don't know why anyone would need to hear this but it's easier to track someone by their cell phone than by a picture of them. Also the government care more about who smashed their way into the capital than who smashed into a target. This is common sense.
this started long before the "free Palestine" stuff.... this started when people started waking up to China, and that maybe they weren't the greatest thing on earth, and that maybe the Chinese govt can manipulate tik Tok in the same way the US govt manipulated AOL, Apple, Google, Hotmail, Skype, Gmail, Facebook, Yahoo to spy on and keep tabs on the US population
@@PoliticsRealhmmmm I wonder how all that got pushed to the forefront of thousands of kids accounts. Almost as if it was designed by the true owners of tik tok. Hence why it's dangerous and why our social media is banned in tik tok's home country, china.
yeah, but if the Chinese Govt is using tik Tok to monitor the American population, in the same way that the US govt was using Hotmail, Gmail, google, Facebook, Apple, Yahoo, AOL, Skype to monitor and spy on the US population, should the US govt do something about it?
At this point we Americans have two choices, trash all phones and don't buy them until they are never tracked and set up for the buyer, not the government, toss your computers and stop buying new cars that track everything you do, or become slaves of the government!
You HAVE to have a cell phone for jobs. If you get put on probation they force you to get a cell phone. Not having a cell phone takes you out of the larger dating pool, as well. Plus everyone will judge you for it.
other countries can come here and run their apps here; but you cannot go to their country and run your apps there. the game rules have to change in reciprocal. they can come here and buy land, properties, and open business here, but you cannot go to their country and do the same. who will protect your rights in other countries? like when people get scammed from outside foreign country and you can't get your shit back. How about open up the internet for everyone in all countries. Not all countries allow their people to use the internet. It's like only America fought for freedom and liberty; all other countries don't like it, don't accept it, reject it, what not, including Europe, but now they have to adapt to the free world, cuz some of the old ideas can't survive in modern day.
Is there a bill to ban woke tv and internet commericals we are bombarded by their narrative and sometimes dont see an over 40 year old white guy not wearing a sweater for hours lol
Many people here are unaware that the government DOES NOT have the power to actually ban any company. So the bill has to CHANGE LAWS that give the government the power to: 1.) "Identify a company that poses a threat" (and the bill needs to state/amend all the legal jargon and law changes that makes it possible) 2.) Removing said company (and the legal mechanics behind that) 3.) Establishing the options of authorized force if the company "resists" Basically, it is impossible to ban Tik Tok without drastically changing the laws that protect our freedom to own and operate a business. Can't have one without the other.
This just isn’t true AT ALL, ever heard of Huawei? It’s an entire cellphone distributor, China’s version of IPhone, and it was banned in 2018 for security risks. 0 laws have to be changed for the government to ban a company and it DOES have the power to do so as of now. If you think it’s right or not is a COMPLETELY different discussion.
@@Killa_Suerte I should have been more clear. Yes, if the company is engaging in harmful acts, we obviously already have laws to take care of it. But Tik Tok's "harm" isn't easily describable. It doesn't fall into the same category as malicious or espionage. If we want to broaden the legal scope of what constitutes "harmful" to the point where Tik Tok can be labeled as such, it will require an enormous overhaul of "who ultimately decides what is harmful", and "the actual limits of WHAT can be deemed harmful. Essentially, the government has to give itself ultimate authority to say "this video a national security risk", even though the video doesn't necessarily show anything harmful to national security. It could just be a video about a protest, but it is labeled and AI-narrated to sow discord and division among the American public. But how do you prove that? You can't, you can only let a person with ultimate authority decide that. But the repercussions of such power is very clearly a scary thing to behold.
Can we all on a whole agree, regardless affiliations, colors, creeds, etc, etc, etc, etc... That the gubbamint is no longer serving the best interests of the people by any stretch
Never has, the problem is we’re being forced to choose between status quo corruption with the possibility of medical tyranny (forced vaccines) or overt corruption and pettiness in government the likes we’ve never seen before, with the the latter arguing for the unprecedented idea of complete, unquestionable executive immunity. We had a good run either way, but we have to decide whether we want to buy ourselves another decade or another couple of years.
Freedom is scary for everyone, but it's more scary for the ones running the show. They need to grow up... in fact. Government should be run as a civil responsibility for 2 weeks when you turn 18. It should unlawful to act without fiduciary responsibilities set clearly.... I mean, the government should be small enough to only need to show up the first Thursday of every month, and you don't get paid.
The only weird thing I found about TikTok was, when I downloaded it on my iPad, before I created an account, they showed a bunch of kids doing provocative dances, and wearing provocative clothing… and when I created my account, the random videos changed.. it became about makeup, clothing, fruit, etc… very odd.
She lost all credibility when she stepped down from a government position. Going from having full capabilities of changing these policies to structurally, just complaining about them at this point.
As a potential VP, Tulsi Gabbard brings a refreshing perspective to the table. Her dedication to serving the people, combined with her strong leadership skills and commitment to bipartisan cooperation, would make her a valuable asset to any administration. Looking forward to seeing her make positive waves in the political landscape!
You cant tell she is lying or at least putting a spin on it. Nothing in her story had to do with that guys 14y son. She brings it up to get an emotional response.
They’re trying to secure socializing. You can’t secure a sober society when everyone is coming from everywhere else in the world and brings so many different religious ideas and substances. We have to get rid of this notion of securing some sort of society for the sober living. It’s not right. We have more than enough resources
If this law were really about overreach by private companies and social media's, they'd restrict Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, etc. but they aren't, even though those domestic companies have provably stolen exploited and sold American private data.
@@ganondorf66why shouldn't everyone be? Because you're poisoned by the Democrat/Republican wheel? The fuck did Palestinians do in the past 80 years besides live?
Think it’s two different issues. Tik tok subjectively bad to some fine for others. Giving government the ability to shut companies down by law for now and forever, really bad for everyone.
Because it's about a Chinese infiltration tool that is squarely positioned to influence the West's ideology towards communism, laziness, self-importance, and self-harm?
YT (owned by goo goo gle) trys to sensor anything that goes against their narrative wether true or not, of course. Probably telling you something you already knew but, in case. ✌️
It is what Yous toob owned by giggle does constantly to control narrative. Which I imagine you already knew, but in case. My first comment to you was deleted, of course, btw. Same subject of this clip
Sorry Gabs. 10 years ago you would have hated TT. I think you just want to be cool with young voters. It's a brainwashing, spy weapon and you make it sound like thats fine if you personally like that. Well I don't like brainwashed people. Americans have enough probs already. Why should I China to brainwash and spy? So STFU.
Yes banning would be against free speech, however if theres a foreign country HEAVILY trying to influence our country and our youth in a negative way, i think we should make an exception and ban it! Im well aware it "opens a door" to do these things in the future for things that arent as dangerous. Just my opinion I think it should be banned
