Best American road trip hands down is traveling Historic Route 66. And fireflies come out early summer! Or if you have a lot of time (a month or more) see all the National Parks, you'll be able to experience ALL the diversity of our landscapes. ❤

The theme to Mysterious Cities of Gold is absolutely amazing. And you are correct about the fever dream. I stumbled accross MCoG on Netflix around 2014 or so, after not seeing it since 80's Nickelodeon. And I was absolutely in shock as all the memories came flooding back like a tidal wave. Practically a religious experience. Glad I'm not the only one.

that thing about media experienced as a kid feeling like a fever dream is very relatable! for the longest time id remember this short animation with rabbits with guns fighting like dinousaurs or something. only in my adult years realized i was remembering the opening for a video game called jazz jackrabbit 2 from 1998.only figured it out because someone namedropped the game in some video essay or something... love these videos! keep em coming, but no need to push yourself too much :)

I think you would have liked my job. I lived in FL or California in the winter time baby training and in the spring April/May to Oct/Nov I would travel to different states to race. Go to many State Fairs to compete in series and to race the big stake races. I am a retired race horse trainer. So tractors and shovels, pitchforks and being outside in nature is all part of it.I Enjoy your ramblings and art. Blessings.
