Dynodaze's Public Rolling Road open Saturday 9am till 1pm Every Saturday
Power Runs are £30 for x2 runs and colour Printout.
AFR and Boost can be recorded and plotted for an extra £10 per item on your graph.
All on a 1st come 1st served basis with last forms being filled in before 12 noon to ensure everyone gets on the dyno.
Remaps can be done Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm and start from £199 so please contact us to book in.

136 wheel HP to 169 is a pretty big gain for a plug and play. And 186ft to 214 again is pretty impressive considering the chip didn’t even have the chance to adapt to the ecu. Also remaps destroy warranties. Seems like money well spent

Problem is most of us get into something decent through a lease deal , if that wasn’t the case with me aswell id tune my new cupra 290 but they would definitely find it during servicing. But that’s a few tuners now have put out videos on boxes and there definitely not worth close to £500 most of them cost. Would love to see a video like this on the jb1 and jb4 though to see the results. Cool video though .👍

I wonder if you reset the adaptive learned values on the ecu then did 5 pulls on setting 7 if you then see anything

On my tfsi the racebox increases the boost pressure only, it made zero difference to perceived performance

I don't understand why people buy tuning boxes any more when you can get tuning handsets which let you flash back to stock at any time.

Both of those options are poor and not "real" custom tuning whih will get far better results. also a tuning box wont show a FLASH COUNT for main dealer warranty

@@DynodazeHondaTuners No you don't understand. Custom tuning on a Dyno or road logged, then loaded onto a handset. Yes the only drawback is the flash count but it's quite uncommon for a dealer to check that.

You can't change the settings while it's in gear, that's why the buttons are under the hood to make you stop and in the video it looks like the wheels never stopped spinning. The installation tells you the car will not react to the chip if you don't make longer drives on each tune going up in order until it stumbles and then go back down one. The racechip needs to learn the car for each setting and slamming it down on a dyno without braking it in is pointless and you probably won't see a difference according to the installation guide.

The owner should buy another ECU and get a third key cut for his car. Then use the transponder and ECU with the third key. And swap them for warranty work. Much easier if the ECU is in a easy to access location.

can you shine some light on this? I don't follow. You get a replacement ECU that you swap for the original when going to the dealer for maintenance ? Then what does the third key do?

@@ouwetroep6910 The third key is to run on the second ECU with the remap software. Every time you need to take it to the dealership you reinstall the original ECU and drive in with one of the two original keys. The remap is stored software on the ECU.

@@ouwetroep6910 Yeah, any car with an ECU. But most are hard to access and have rivets that need drilling. Obviously this is the method to steal the vehicle as well, so they make it difficult. But some cars are very easy to swap over, especially Mercedes Sprinter vans.

Car has an over boost nearer to 200bhp for a few seconds how does that show on a Dyno or wont it?

it will and does if it happens on the dyno as peak torque

Tuning boxes are waste of space. Remap or buy faster car. Without a tuning box theres more space (regardless of its size) for air. More air=more power! Hence they're a waste of space 😂
