@@TheDriversHub Excited! One feedback I do have from this video is that we didn’t get to see much of what the results looked like...so here like maybe an exhaust comparison (before Vs after), or engine rev comparison, or something like that would’ve really sealed the video for me! Great video overall though 👍🏼
Hello I'm commenting from Kolhapur I got a Volkswagen ameo 1.5 TDI manual Can we make such modifications for it. ? Like will it give such a amezing performance n sound ? And if yes how much will it cost ?
The TDIs are a great platform to tune, in fact, we have tuned a 1.5 TDI Rapid which is an upcoming episode in the series and we got some serious power gains out of it. Look out for that episode, till then, message us on Instagram if you want to know more!
Hey bro Monday I'll be getting my 1.0 L TSI Manual is it safe to remap it to stage 2 my friend was like I'll spoil the engine as it's 1000cc help me out in this
Totally fine if you get it done from professionals like Autodisir Performance. If you are from Pune, let me know. We can cut you a good deal on a Stage 2 performance map from Autodisir. The 1.0L TSI is an epic engine to tune, far more superior than the 1.2L TSI. The tolerance levels of the 1.0 TSI are amazing and if done right, can creep to around 200 wheel horsepower!
Hi guys. Just came across your channel and immediately subscribed. I have a couple of questions. When getting a new down pipe installed, did you come across any sensors on the old unit and was it easy to fix it on the new contraption. Did you have any warning lights flash or check engine light on the dash after the install. Is it possible to know the cost of the pipe including installation as well as an approx cost of a new ecu tune for the mods. I have a NA petrol SX4, I know it's nothing compared to the beasts you guys own and drive. But was hoping to improve the driving experience by a bit, before getting myself a vag car. Thanks in advance and sorry for badgering you with so many questions...
While I really like this effort for video, is it legal to remove a catalytic converter after getting emission certificate in this case.? Will this mod adhere to indian emission norms? If removing cat is an option wouldn't the car companies do it default?
apart from norms, it is also not safe to sit inside stationary car with ac on. toxic gases can get back into the car. many people have silently died inside their sleep this way...
Depends on which DSG you have. In the GT TSI, we have the DQ200 DSG which can usually take up to 250Nm of Torque without any problems. Anything above that means your DSG goes for a toss and you will need to ready 1.5 Lacs to fix it ☠️
@@TheDriversHub Hey! Great vid, u said the DSG version is DQ200. A question, is this still a "double clutch transmission" or is this the one a regular "torque convertor" transmission. Would love a response from you.
Surprisingly, the mileage hasn't gone down by a lot. Maybe 1-2kmpl of a different is there, but we recently took it from Pune to Mumbai and we got a kmpl reading of 18.5 kmpl from the whole trip!
Great job, but totally against removing a catalytic converter, whose purpose is to reduce harmful gases from the exhaust of the car. Power is good, but at the cost of human and environmental degradation is a pretty big compromise in my opinion. Cheers to the effort though.. :)
