Tuning the 40 meter amateur radio band LSB on Choyong LC90 Smart radio using MLA 30 loop

I’ve considered this radio. I really enjoy your channel. I have to say that this video convinced me that there is no way that I would ever purchase an LC90. The ergonomics, the performance even with the MLA30 antenna, and the tuning issues are too much to have to deal with. I’ll take my Malahit DSP2 for Shortwave and HF any day. And if I want internet radio I’ll just have to get a dedicated radio for that purpose. I appreciate your reviews. You do an outstanding job. Thank you.

Amazing that all these new technologies for radio are not coming from the major makers like Tecsun or Sangean but from companies we never have heard about like Choyong, Raddy, XHData etc.

Nice radio....though....i prefer off grid....the beauty of analog - no internet. Love your channel...and appriciate your opinions and knowedge. Cheers

I am still glad that I returned mine to Amazon, even with the upgraded firmware, because of the complications with the LC90 not being able to connect to my WiFI, while everything elso I have WiFi connects to it. 😮

Looks good. I see it the volume also reduces on this one when fine tuning. I have the Xhdata and it does the same. Otherwise looks like a nice radio.

Choyong should send you the Mini to review too. Have they given a rough estimate on when the LC100 will be released?

There is a LC90 mini. Do you know anything about it. Would it be able to upgrade firmware also?
