thats nice but the antenna is not 1:1 . os less effect. not my cup of thea . Why is the Antenna is not resonant. i suppose to less on radials. not enough ground?

Elevating the ATAS-120 is a very interesting idea. In the video, one can see a light grey wire leaving the antenna at an angle and also a black wire running down the pole. Since I cannot tell if you added a ground wire, could you please explain the way in which you wired everything. I understand that the DC to power the motor in the ATAS-120 is on the center conductor of the coax. Thanks.
@@tron23058 Its looks like the black wire wrapped around the pole is the feed cable. The grey lines are ground radials, as they go away from the base and end up on the ground. It is better to have the radials in the air, as that helps prevent ground losses and gives you a better signal.
