Thanks for posting. Good stuff. You are producing some of the best Tuono 660 content out there from what I can see. I just took one of these on a test ride about two hours ago. It felt like the perfect amount of power for responsible street riding and chill track days. It was super fun and I am choosing it over the Street Triple 765 and the MT-09. It’s a better fit for me in multiple ways. Those are really nice bikes too though.
@@suh_slow6902 no problem at all! Yeah, I checked one of those out recently too. They are really fast. I honestly don’t need or want the extra power that comes with the Street Triple 765 or the MT-09 I realized. The Tuono 660 is kind of sweet spot for me I think. Yours looks great too. 👍🏾
@@suh_slow6902 I learned to ride on small bore dirt bikes off and on over the years. So, I guess I am one of those people that would rather ride a slower bike fast and in control than a faster bike slow and afraid or more at risk at this point. There is something fun about wringing out a smaller engine. I enjoy that more than holding on for dear life on a liter bike, etc.
In the newest films i see that you install some start/ stop button. I want to install some simillar in my Tuono. Could you say some words about the start stop sytem and the rear damper?
Thanks for the build videos. Is that windscreen the MRA 45mm Race in light smoke? How is it working for you? Do you wish you would of got a different brand or dark smoke?
Hey, yeah, it's the MRA screen. So far, no complaints, does it's job as inteded. If I were to try another brand, I may try the Puig screen - go clear for tracking riding.
Thanks for the detail in the answer. I heard from one reviewer that the MRA 45mm Race is really only one inch taller from stock, but 45mm "longer". Reviewer stated people think it's 45mm taller, but not the case (They also stated wind deflection with one in. taller is noticeable, but not significant). Anywho (ha), I like the look of the MRA Race and am kind of glad it's only 1 inch taller. IMHO Puig is just a little too tall for me when I see it from the side profile (reminds me of an adventure bike windscreen), although reviewers like the wind reduction.@@suh_slow6902
Interesting that you went with the tuono 660 factory over the RS660 since you do a lot of track days, I would have thought the RS660 to be a better fit for you. Tuono is the better option for street riding, so I guess you do a lot of street riding too?
Yeah, I thought really hard about which platform to get and ultimately came down to what the bike could offer. The Tuono Factory comes with better suspension and really the major differences are the handlebar and styling of the bike. I picked the tuono factory for the better suspension and the looks. in terms of ergos/posture, the Tuono still works for me on track. I'm actually leaning towards less street riding currently haha.
