If this plane has lower operating costs than a Boeing 757 then Tupolev should really market it towards 757 operators looking for new planes, since who knows when the 787-3 is going to materialize.

There is nothing really very bad about russian planes. Sometime one crashes. But the same happens to a european or an american plane too. We must consider that russian planes are operated in very demanding conditions often not comparable to those in airports in Europe or US...
