I have driven this car a lot and pulled it up to 130 kph. I kid you not, it's an altogether different feeling. You may drive a BMW at 200 kph but the feel of driving an ambassador is altogether different. Simply phenomenal.
Learnt to drive in my father's ambassador, more than half a century ago. My all time favorite car. In rainy season, the breaks did not work properly if driven during rainfall.
Hit like if you learned driving on this machine. Sturdy car, remained an icon for long time. Preferred by netaji and bureaucrats & officers. Most comfortable car of it's time when there were less flyovers and express ways. Thanks for the video
I have acquired a 2000 dsz of 2004. Runs fine without turbo and crumple zones. Really not worried about 45kmph crashes..the tank like steel handles it all!
Good review ambassador will always remain the king of Indian roads . you could have elaborated more about this legendary car . as far as turning radius is concerned , it is same as the Honda city . to turn any car takes effort . come to the streets of Kolkata , you will get to know how to drive ambassador from taxi drivers . also some Delhi taxi drivers told me they used to run this car sometimes with kerosene oil .it was a true & best Indian car . HP , torque , turbo , features doesn't always matter, its the performance , ability to tackle bad roads, practicality , sturdiness matters the most

@@varuntomer1725 aise hi nahi bani 60 saal tak ambassador car . for reasons it stood the test of time , in short its a time tested car 1 . simplistic design to give VIP look , simple sober look , large windows to give great sense of airiness ( even in summers without ac ) , great visibility rear & front , passengers won't feel claustrophobic at all , simple sofa like seats . its a simple authentic timeless machine 2 . easy to repair , maintenance , low maintenance ( after discontinuation now the maintenance is high ) , most preferred car till now in taxi & govt segment . almost everyone has a good slice of memory of ambassador. Massive boot space , easy to get in & out , sturdy built quality gives assurance to use properly , crumple zones , side impact protection . it has the best ac , cools the cabin quickly & the list goes on. .. ...
