I'm not a pro at RU-vid. I really enjoy doing this and documenting the hidden talent in the shop. I think people are conditioned to watching rehearsed and produced RU-vid channels which this is not. This is 100% organic and done with my GoPro 10 and 11 cameras. All is done on low budget editing software. RU-vid is very competitive and it is difficult to move up in popularity. A few of the videos have gone viral which really helped put the channel on the map. It would take a large organization like Hot Rod Magazine or Leno's garage to help grow the channel more. Thank you for the kind words. Greg
Thanks for the taste Greg. I saw your facebook post today & could wait to get home hoping there was a video. Some fine driving on the edge there from Cal, that's for sure! Thanks again for sharing!
Thank you for the compliment we are 100% organic. I just let the camera roll and record the action. No pre-scripted shows here, dirty hands, oil on the ground and shop dog running around! Good old fashion hot rodding at its best!
@GregQuirin Your videos are a window into the genius of these guys. I have worked and played in engineering all my life, and I always learn something. Their lateral thinking is second to none. Thanks for your work 🙌
Thank you, @@GregQuirin. That surprises me, because any inline four-cylinder engine above 2 liters capacity requires a balance shaft to run smoothly. Does this engine have a balance shaft? Thanks!
@@leslienordman8718 Ferrari built some big four-cylinder engines in the 1950s up to 2.5 L for Formula One and as large as 3.4 L for sports car racing. The BMW S14 engine used in the E30 M3 had 2.3 L and 2.5 L versions and I don't think any of them had a balance shaft. I'm guessing that smoothness wasn't the main consideration here.
I have been following this engine since I saw it in a magazine, so bad ass. 8300 through the traps! I watched all your videos on it and their other kick ass engines. More please, never stop!!!!
