Glad you found a new camerman/roommate who also knows what he's doing. He seems to be a good guy. I've really enjoyed all the new content since he joined up.
Chase Bentley that's why I'm only suscribed to him (youtuber with a project thing). He works till very late at night in his cars. Anxious to see the soccer minivan finished.
Its a blessing to have a mentor like Brent at your age. I also had a mentor in my late teens. The mechanic I worked for as a mechanics helper. He was a German motorsports enthusiast and 17 years later today I am one also.
Kyle's motivation and hard work are definitely something to admire. The cv boots on my k swap did the same thing and it took me a year and a half to clean the black line off my hood and firewall.
Boosting my b18b1 eg si hatch over this winter. Shooting for 300whp which I know isn't much but watching your videos Kyle gets me even more stoked each time for Spring!
Im glad the clutch stopper thing was explained later on as when you mentioned it, it made no sense to me how it could over extend, but when he mentioned the forks go forward and the car would start moving it made sense. Good shit
Thanks for bringing a smile to my face . truly im doing a clutch on a boosted rsx and i honestly just feel better watching this . knowing im not the only one.
I love how you guys set short term goals for each project along the way, and get it done. Much more streamlined and productive compared to other channels and builds. Low-key shade towards haggard garage.
Clutch Masters has been around a long time. Wouldn't be surprised if you end up putting them in all of your cars. Had one in one of my camaros. Stock feeling pedal, and it held onto all of the power. Also I forgot to say something in the other vid but VERY glad to see you mobbing around in the wagon.
I'm so glad that there's a new build VLOG. :D Didn't quite enjoy the snow drifting videos that much, but i guess that's what happens sometimes, i think many people actually enjoyed it. ^^ Don't stop your content, i love it!
I'm not sure if anyone has said this yet, but the suspension on the Odyssey is different from the accord. The front is about the same, the rear is way different. It's a spring and shock setup like the newer Odyssey you own. They have kits for them as I have looked into them for my 98 Odyssey. This whole build is great to watch as it tells me what to do on my if I ever plan to build one like this.
A customer has come into my shop with a clicking in the transmission... turned out that the clutch bolts backed out in a 2015 jetta!!! Just something to keep in mind, it’s always a good idea to use lock tight
*This channel improved so much. You guys work fast as well. Good job on the Mom Van. Will make a great video if you gap a few performance cars for new years!*
Try to keep the ride height the same. You can also look for Bilsteins or Konis and that will help the floaty ride without sacrificing comfort and grip on rough roads.
Nice addition, I do think that tires will make a bigger difference than LSD though. For straight line acceleration, LSD does next to nothing unless you are doing a burnout.
Had this same clutch in my cobalt ss when i bought it, the pedal was so stiff in my car. Was a killer clutch but it was either engaged or disengaged no in between. Throw out bearing went out and i replaced it with a more streetable clutch, plus it was overkill for my 350ish whp.
Good info from brent!! I was wondering when you need a peddle stop for the clutch. On my vr4 I installed a twin disk and I have no peddle stop but dammm competition chatters like crazy!! I might have to do a clutchmasters for my other cars!
Nice info because I have a b16 with a stage 2 and an lsvtech that I'm going to boost with a stage 3 and I think I'm going to need a twin disk after, will see.
Well we don't know what's "up" but he did love your comment so I guess he shares the appreciation I have for taco artist like yourself. I am here to also voice my appreciation for workers like you because, without you who would hack my tacos together and throw them in a bag before you slide the window open and put on a half ass smile as you had over a brown bag of happiness.. Mmm fuck ima go get me some nowwww
quick question guys going tomorrow to look at a red hatch just like your hatch @boostedboiz it has a b18c1 what should oil pressure be at idle and while driving. apparently it smokes pretty bad. thanks guys!
