There’s a ton of new views the last couple weeks! Where is everyone finding this video??? This is a super old video from my first AutoX so there’s a ton of mistakes for sure. Unfortunately I don’t own the car anymore and have a corvette now. I’m moving back to the area where we have this AutoX so expect more videos of the corvette soon! If the video is showing up as a 3:17 long, you are experiencing a glitch that I'm unable to find a fix for. The audio playing is the edited audio but the video is the beginning of the un-edited footage.
That was a sick s2k bro, you have good taste. Cant go wrong with a vette though, I have a cobra bit if I was gonna get something else it would be a c5 probably
idk how I'm now seeing this. but this s2000 makes the spoon s2k look like a toy. It sounds mean, and the loss of traction when you opened the throttle. my Lana, I'm in love, I need one.
Why does this car sound so much different than the other turbo s2k's. The noise under boost points sounds like a v8 LOL. Do you have a different exhaust/dump pipe setup, or just a second microphone near the dump pipe. I have a N/A, so hence I am curious. Maybe this is just how the gopro is picking it up but the wastegate dump is definitely more pronounced than anything i have seen.
At the time my wastegate dump was going out of the hood , so that's why it's more pronounced. My old dump tube routing it back under the car is back on now because a few of the local tracks have much more strict noise regs, lol.
Only one to my knowledge, but it wasn't on entry to the straight. They got too close way down the straight and nudged it. When it's wet they make a cone box to keep entry speed slow as seen in one of my other videos.
Love the video dude. that sound of that sk2 is amazing! What do you have under there to make it sound like that? never heard a turbo s2k sound like that before. impressive
TixonPB dope. I ported my exhaust port a little and kept everything else stock. Also running a 6262 with the wastegate dumping downward. I hope i get sound like this haha
It's a 4 cylinder engine called the f20c or f22c (depending on the year) which is a naturally aspirated engine from factory but this guy put a turbo on it :)
I'm running a 3" titanium exhaust (no name custom) but the main reason the car is so loud is because of the external wastegate dump being vented to atmosphere. I'm running a Precision 6262 for the turbo.
Lots of people have been having issues with the sound. I can’t see what they’re talking about but my video is only 1:15 long. The ones with sound issues said it was 3+ minutes.
@@TixonPB lmao this video seems like the biggest troll and I thought somehow almost every comment was going along with the troll, I guess the real troll is youtube?
Dangerous course design. If you would have pushed a little harder at 0:32 (you did have to correct at that moment), you would have put the S2000 into that concrete barrier that you were literally feet away from and aimed at going into a turn.
It's been cracked since day one. Had to modify it to clear the dash and fit gauges, and constantly having to repair cracks. And cable management is a pain with it.
