The BMS disables the battery when it is removed from the scooter. To properly measure the battery voltage you need to bridge the middle blade contact (marked with the letter A) on the battery with the positive terminal. This will activate the battery and you can measure the voltage.
I got the X7 and just got it today, I was super excited and then said to charge for 6 hrs minimum when back and I have the same problems was looking forward to it to but I’m going to call them up on Monday see if I can do anything
I have two batteries, one working and one not. I tried measuring the voltage on the two batteries, but it didn't give me any results. You have to connect the middle line to the positive line then you can measure. Although it gives me a correct value, the battery is not working😢
use this formula...its my experience first check the battery how much Volt has before BMS which means battery - and +..then if it shows you there is no dead battery it will be more than 36V then use the above Method"i did it on my HX8 scooter I took negative from battery and give to output negative.THEN BMS OUTPUT gave me 42V at output."
@@Tefelucky me avisas como te va hermano , compré una batería " muerta " pero solo era eso , la abrí y hice el puente en los negativos del bms , ahora esa batería la uso en mi ninebot es2 jejeje
Hey guys anyone know where I can pick up a spare battery for this scooter? I have the round connection or the old one as they call it. Turboant say there not making them anymore. Meanwhile I got a dead battery 😢please please can someone help
I feel like I have the same problem with my X7 Max. So my scooter can go, but will not accelerate above 8mph. I’m really hoping it’s just the battery. It would suck to return the whole thing. If they don’t fix it, I think I’ll just get the Hiboy S2 pro or the Varla Pegasus
Stay away from Hiboy. Not reliable and bad quality. Save up for a Etwow or Unagi. They're more expensive, but you're paying for superior quality and reliability.
You all realize there’s several modes right? You have to put it into the mode where it goes 20 mph. I recommend looking up how to switch it into the mode where it goes 20 mph. I’ve had no problems at all. Not yet at the very least and I’ve had it for a good time.
@@Real_UnholySins yeah I was aware of the different modes and I did switch it to red where it's supposed to go 20mph but it was still only going 8mph. I already returned the X7 Max.
@@alliethegreat0924 That’s super Odd. If igbh Any electric scooter you buy even from the most reputable and well known brands can be a gamble and sometimes this happens. I myself have had no issues with this and is an awesome scooter but I do hope you’re getting a new e scooter that is to your liking.
