Here is how I installed the updated version of the Turbosmart IWG75 with the swivel point on my evo 9 turbo. If you follow the steps of how I did this process I believe you can install this on any turbo or platform of your choice.
I’m trying to understand this if you have a sec help PLEASE I’ve done external so maybe I’m over thinking this I have a single port on a r56 mini Now it’s ran by vac On instructions it says optional positive pressure assistance block one side of the bottom port put the barb on the other but it doesn’t say what the positive pressure source should be? Manifold? Can I use my factory valve? Does it have the have a 3port to do this? Because from what I understand the factory valve is pulling vacuum, not 100 on this but doesn’t a 3port MAC valve work opposite where it’s making the pressure then vents to atmosphere? My external setup on another car it’s tapped at cold side housing then to the valve why I’m thinking the positive assistance setup on this actuator can just go to manifold. Now on that note It is a factory matched spring so would I have issues with that door staying shut without a new map I’d just hate to leave the bottom ports to vent and have the threads get all dirty then can thread the barbs in. It will be a minute before a get a map. Also every valve depending on brand lines have to be ran different just don’t understand why they wouldn’t say what to run the source to
