A new espresso machine only from Espresso Outlet! This is number 1 of 3, so make sure to check back. A few key features: 58mm portafilter, single boiler with thermoblock for steam (game changer for many people), shot timer, I forgot to mention in the video it has pre-infusion, shot pressure gauge in bars. This machine is going to be hot!
More information will be provided soon!

Well this looks interesting! The footprint of a single boiler with the addition of the thermoblock is cool. It reminds me of a Gaggia with all the popular mods built in plus the thermoblock. Excited to see the other models. Very cool!

Lol punching the air rn, just bought a Gaggia classic pro. Interested to start seeing some reviews of it

I just snagged a Classic Evo Pro but I'm not terribly mad, the Gaggia can last indefinitely and has a huge amount of aftermarket parts available.....reliability and longevity on this machine (the Turin) is unknown at this point (and sold under multiple brands, as well). Only time will tell! If it lasts, it's a helluva deal for what it offers.

I got mine on the early bird special. I hope the pre infusion works longer than the miicoffee version.

Having just ordered a SD40 V2, I've got my eye on this as a mild upgrade from my Barista Express, though I would really like to see a black finish option as well as a 9 bar spring (or at least the option to swap it, I don't mind tinkering).

Very exciting and a great design at the price point. Is this the same model as the new MiiCoffee machine? Also, what about pre-infusion and OPV adjustments?

Looks like a great little machine for a beginner! When do you expect they will be delivered? I am considering this as a first machine. Very attractive price

Under $500, that is incredible but with that Kawasaki green DF 64 next to it it looks like a $2,000 machine

It's interesting that all these RU-vid videos over the past few months have been raving about the Turin, MiiCoffee, Gemilai... that has been around for the past 5 years. So, why now? My guess is that Turin (Espresso Outlets house brand and really the only thing they almost ever have in stock) is trying to capitalize on the recent success of the DF64 grinder. And all these RU-vidr's are, shock, bought and paid for.

yeah, not trying to hide the fact that they have actually been out for longer than 5 years, but only really available in 220V and the previous version had smaller thermoblock for steam.

Thank you for your review! Considering the Gaggia Classic Pro Evo and this machine for my next purchase. Any advice or insights on which one might be a better choice? Looking for a reliable espresso experience. Thanks!

Gaggia going to have more temp surfing and no PID stock. Ive used both and feel this is a better machine and better shot quality. But a tad biased, so feel free to read up on both so it fits your needs.

A few questions. At how many bars was that shot extracted at? It's impossible to see the gauge marking in the video It looks like it pulled at the first 1/4 mark of the gauge range (looks like ~4 bar?...If its is then it's too low) Is the OPV bypass pressure adjustable? Who makes the machine? BTW is the PID temperature displayed already offset from the boiler temperature or is it actual boiler water temperature? Generally there's is an offset that you can program to account for the temp drop between the water exciting the boiler and the water temperature at the group head (which is about 8 C) Thanks in advance for the info.

Very cool machine. Looks like a Gaggia Classic Pro with mods already done, would you agree with that? Does the PID temp do farenheit as well?

Similer to a modded machine, probably better. Only does deg C

1) what is the height between the drip tray and the portafilter? 2) How hard is it to adjust the OPV? 3) Does it have two pumps so that you can brew and steam at the same time using the thermoblock? 4) how much current does it draw when steaming and brewing simultaneously? I want to know if this is going to trip my circuit breaker.

maybe is enable. Turn on the steam, press and hold the manual button until it shows C9 on PIP to get boiling water from the steam wand. to go back to steam turn off steam knot

Breville/Sage has a big comsumer espresso machine marketshare. I get the point that this machine has a more "standard" portafilter size, but it is a moot point b/c the barista expresses popularity and subsequent accessories (portafilters, baskets, screens, etc.) . I do like the gages on the Turin. The timer is a stand out feature. The gage being an actional bar pressure gage. Steaming the milk should have been a focus b/c the older model Barista Expresses only come single hole and the produced pressure is OK. Makes for longer steaming of milk to get the correct texture. Cost would have been a benifitial add to the vid. Is the Turin and DF64 a better value then a Barista express with built in grinder for a beginner? Something to consider. THanks for the video.

Up to you, depends what matters. I prefer 58. Built in grinders are usually quite poor.

4:10: the 54mm portafilter has the advantage of a deeper and narrower basket. The distribution screen has an easier job doing an even distribution of water, so there’s less chance of ‘channeling’ errors. And some would argue that the 54mm, common among the classic commercial spring lever machines, provides better extraction because of the deeper puck.

Is the high limit adjustable. Nice vid. FWIW, for me lighter roasts work better with a higher temp than medium dark roasts. Did you say it’s 18” tall?

how long (seconds) to steam for a latte? did the temp drop to 91c as the shot went on? that's not a good look for temp stability. also the pid buttons shouldnt be that difficult to work with maybe physically clicking buttons would be better. nice machine other than those concerns and very good price point

Brew head temperature is +/-7 degrees Celsius lower than set in PID. Interior inspection "similar to Turin Legato/ crm3007" at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-C_7IeaSH7k8.html 07:10 in the video and pressure and PID test "similar to Turin Legato/crm3007" at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-C_7IeaSH7k8.html 11:56 in the video. The language is Korean. no good translation from 11:56 to around 15 minutes in the video It's 93 degrees, but there's a plus too. If you press the minus button I can control it. 90 degrees It is not well recognized. I think you can take a look. now the second I'll be right there 82.2 is now clearly recorded. What I can confirm is 3605. Although unlikely, temperatures will remain more stable. You can see it happening. Now 3 Let's go into it one more time. It went up to 83 degrees once and then again. You can see that it is maintained at around 82 degrees. There was Empty the water once and sleep for the fourth and final time. I'll go It's the same these days. I'm maintaining it well. Now, I'm going to do one more test here. It was now at 90 degrees. Now then. When I set it to 93 degrees, the measuring device shows What will the temperature be like? I'll test it reaction It's slow. It's set to 93 degrees. temperature Raised it to 93 degrees According to calculations, the temperature posted here is also It needs to go up 3 degrees more. Let's see if it works out. Now, as you just saw, It went down to 84.5 degrees and then to 86 degrees. I went up close and came that far. I went. It's not very accurate, but It's almost 3 degrees higher. Actually, I'm not sure what this is. I thought about going up, but it wasn't bad. I don't think so. I think this is enough to check the temperature. Now, steam and coffee extraction are in the part. Let's talk about these two There are many things that may or may not happen at the same time. You might be curious Let’s press the extract button first. Now, let me turn on Steam. It doesn't even budge. It's not possible I'll take a look at what I extracted.

Okay, I know this is definitely a value machine, so something has to be sacrificed to meet the price point - but the fitment between the outer panels looks outright not great. This is something you may want to see if the manufacturer can improve upon.
