@TheKakan1337 2024 year army budget îs 40 bilion dolar last year was 16 bilion. 250% more money in 1 year because last few year Türkiye waiting its own factorys to produce own weapon. This year Türkiye start buyin from turkish arm factorys many weapons. Turkish arm industry developed many sistem that turkish govern want to buy. 1 of them is air defence sistems.

Turkey is building world's 5th biggest radar cross section test laboravutary. And Turkey had been working on developing Radar Absorbing Paints and Materials for 15 years. So it will be a serious stealth drone. Anka 3 drone is for now using Ukrainian jet engines but already tf6000 domestic jet engine prototype is ready. And in future Turkey is planning to use Anka 3 with domestic indigenous jet engine. So far Turkey only needs to develope 5th generation jet engines which can provide super cruise without after burner. When Turkey will develope own powerful jet engines it will be in top league in defence industry.
@@stuartburns8657 This test is a maiden flying test not a test for stealth functions. Landing gears will be closed and 1300kg weapon payload will be inside body. And it will be full stealth mode. In first test flight landing gears are not closed due to possible technical error. Because noone want to loose a prototype just because of a landing gear failure. So first flights are done with opened landing gears and in slow speeds because of landing gears. Advanced test flights will be done by higher speeds and with closed gears.

Going to be. We aren't there yet if it comes to whole defense industry. There is still 20% dependency which will shrink with the completion of our fighter jet. Whether 5th or 4,5th generation. That would be begin 2030s

@@nostro1940That Ukrainian engine is licence built in Turkiye because developing a fully Turkish engine is expensive for the time being. Even f35 stealth fighter engine isn't fully American, it uses parts from Europe and even Turkiye .

There is also the smallest version of Anka-3. That model had been flying for months. The plan is to make two more versions of Anka-3. One is smaller, one is larger. There will be 4 versions in total. Türkiye did not make the first unmanned aircraft in the form of flying wings. Dassault Neuron, X-47B, Oknotnik. But Turkey will be the first country to mature it, take it into its inventory and use it. You can be sure of this. Because Türkiye knows very well where it can use everything it has developed and acts realistically. And it can reduce its cost. Anka-3 versions in total are the small B-2 Spirit and the unmanned F-35. Intelligence, reconnaissance, observation and bombardment of the enemy's critical and well-protected targets, acting secretly. Turks, the horse warriors of the steppe, had their own weapons and war doctrines throughout history. Although their enemies (Rome, China...) were always more numerous than the Turks, they were superior to them with their war doctrines. @@andydufresne431failed to achieve 30k feet endurance, though our next gen stealth UAV Ghatak is very similar to above Turkish drone, hope that succeeds. It's miniature variant has passed with flying colors. Though our navy will use Rustom in Andaman Nicobars area
Turkiye back to its nomadic roots, turkic horse archer cavalry was very strong in medieval era. These drones sre modern day horse Archer cavalry, fast, cheaper and quick damage without much risk. I hope India catches up soon with Ghatak project, though our Rustom project has failed.

We did not become members of NATO because we loved it so much. We had to because of the threat of Stalin after the Second World War. We can say that Turkey is a good person living in a bad neighborhood. Our neighbors are Syria, Iraq, Iran and Russia. ..Geography is destiny, what else can we do? When we become a little stronger economically and militarily, we will not stay in NATO anyway. Our eyes are on the east. BRICS is more advantageous for us.
@@sarsaclmavigozludevatam22 it was you who voted on joining nato and besides brics is not exactly an "alliance" nor are they a viable option when you take a deeper look into how each member of brics is doing in terms of economy, internal matters and stability. All nations within brics despise eachother, China and Russia are a great example of it, they don't work together because they are "freinds", but because they don't like the U.S and it's influence...or their allies, it is a matter time before one of them backstabs the other. Speaking of geography, while we may be in the middle of europe and have multiple neighbours who are "buffer states" and do not wish to invade us we do have an enemy in the east, who, historicaly have not liked us at all (if ww1 and the 1956 revolution wasn't enough proof of that) and would probably like to use our nation as a buffer state just like the old days when the iron curtain was a reality.
ANKA-3 produced by TUSAS which is founded in 1973 and also produced f-16 parts and assembly then produced f-35 parts ans structures so they have enough experience to do that. Further than that another companies that they support ew, sensors, missiles, eo and others equipment products also founded in 70s.. so Türkiye has not started to do that today or last 20 years they started it 50 years ago. !
