They can still run their mouths and tell the restaurant's secret and the owners wouldn't know who said what. The best thing is to have seasoning and other ingredients labeled as just Salt or Seasoned salt or Pepper. No labels of the brand's name
I've eaten there 3 times. Every time I've had a friend come in town to visit me,I have to take them to the TLH. It's the bomb!! Never has disappointed! Never... The food is so 🔥 😋 👌🏽
"Blick econimic piwir is blick piwir" Look at you trying to segregate your people once again. You people never get enough of it, do you? Then you're out protesting and crying in the streets when it really happens.
Da-Pac Pro-Trump ! Typical Trumpite, Real uninformed uneducated moron. Pick up a book, specifically “Black Power” by Stokely Carmichael aka Kwame Ture’. It not the same as so called “White Power” as in “Race Supremacy”. It refers to Political power that can be built within the Black community through self sustaining capitalism. Graduate the 6th grade before you decide to post your ignorance of our struggle. 💪🏾✊🏿✊🏽✊🏾🖕🏾
@@loyaltyaboveall2617 The irony of your statement "white people have tried everything under the sun to destroy black people" is my father is black and my mother is white. How can you make such a statement? I wouldn't be alive if what you said were true! I'm living proof that you are wrong.
@@jamie6387 I'M ESPECIALLY PROUD of My BLACK PEOPLE and their success. EDUCATE YOURSELF DUMB Ass. Learn of OUR STRUGGLE nobody's OPPRESSION and institutional RACISM is LIKE OURS. @@darlenecobb7825 they'll get the same combativeness that they're experiencing where they are now if they go north of Atlanta and it's too hard (I would not venture into the city at least...unless I absolutely have to)...too much traffic inside the perimeter.
I live in Houston. I’m one of those people who have waited in line plenty of Sundays after church. I’ve had the dirty rice stuffed TL, Hennessy-glazed TL, & Alfredo stuffed TL. I have yet to be disappointed by TLH. I just hate they’re located in a gentrified area and the locals are trying to get them shut down. TLH relocated there about 2 yrs ago.
They need to have the proper permits to operate. It doesn't matter where or who you are, it's the City of Houston code enforcement. Don't like it? Move out of the City - not hard to understand.
So proud of these two - they *will* get through the issue of gentrification... it's not about "colonizers" or people aiming a racist gun. They will get through it, and lovers of delicious food (of all colors) will enjoy their food for years to come. Support them. They deserve it !!!! Foood is amazing and brings people together.
@@TylerWashington you know they could not be racist and still want to shut them down? Not everything is because of race, in fact most conflicts are not because of race.
At first I was like I’m not standing on no damn line for no turkey! But then I saw they were black owners and I said I would stand on that line all day yesss black power ✊🏾👊🏾
This is so awesome! I know for a fact that this is so good! It is so crazy cause I know what how they make it so good but refuse to share cause my mom always made her the same way ! I wish them the best!
I'm here in texas from Louisiana. I'm displaced from hurricane Ida and my son who's been here before raves about The Turkey Leg Hut and I'm trying the turkey leg. People has treated me very nice but DAM, this turkey leg is the bomb. You deserve the praise. Hope you continue to profit and keep rising. I wish y'all come to the big sleazy, uh New Orleans area. God bless y'all. Started from the bottom, now ya UP. Best thing I ate here in Texas
Cheryl you made me laugh unexpectedly! I didn't know where your comment was going. I pray GOD has blessed you with safe & permanent housing, and that TLH gets to LA so i can get me a leg too!
@@alondranelson3812 thanks for responding. I'm back in Louisiana but in a FEMA trailor site in r v's since January. Hurricane season is here again and hopefully we'll be able to leave if need be. Stay safe .
It's such a blessing knowing we have so many black successful & talented people here in Houston🖤🙏🏾 and to racist people that are not Houstonians WORDS of WISDOM just because we live in the beautiful State Texas doesn't mean we all have a Country Accents and ride horses 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♀️
lamar jackson Well, then to hell with what they think.Take the stamps if needed and those that are (able)open a business.Because you are damned if you do and damned if you don't.Fu'ck em.
IDK why I'm so emotional! I literally teared up over joy for this couple's success. Maybe because I just heard of them the first time from the previous video I watched about them being sued by some people in the community they operate, for "smoke, noise & parking". They made it seem like it was a disorderly hangout and nuisance to the community, only to learn the truth that it's a highly reputable establishment that people come from all over to eat there, celebrities included! Just goes to show that if "they" don't like you, they will try to vilify you and defame your character...great example of why it's so important to go a step further to get a full picture and not accept a one sided view...of anything! And just goes to prove that if GOD be for you! WHO can be against you! Romans 8:31 HA! GOD BLESS THEM AND CONTINUE TO ENLARGE THEIR TERRITORY! IN JESUS NAME! AMEN PS. and send'em to LA so I can get a taste too LORD
Gentrification isn't as bad as the education system in the United States. Take your sentence for example. I know a 7 year old girl who can write better.
I've been in Houston 62 years I've never heard of this place I have to look them up right now cuz I know from that line and looking at that food it is off the chain hats off to my brother and sister for being so successful keep up the good work!
@@vanessascott1662 they originally claimed that the smoke coming from the restaurant was harmful...but that wasnt really the case...so the lawsuit was thrown out
@@cutiepierita20 maybe the smoke was just very annoying. I know I wouldn't want to have smoke blowing my way all day long. I wonder what system they have in place to displace the smoke. I use to worked at Sonic and our smoke never bothered the other businesses because it was displaced high in air instead of around the building.
They are having problems in Houston because of gentrification. I recommend that the Turkey hut go franchise. They are a very successful black owned now, fixing to be multi million dollar business. You guys keep it pushing abs but one in Atlanta, North Carolina and Washington DC
I waited in line once, whn i first moved to houston for my bday..wht attracted me to the place was the lavish oversized drinks..but i didnt even see that option on the menu...now .i go to the truck and order to go lol i dnt hve time! Lol it is good!
Been there twice once went to Houston to visit family and they took us there and the second time me and the wife drove there from Dallas just to get some more. The food is soo dam good my words really don't do it justice you just have to go see for yourself. But I can give you an idea of how good it is.You know when you get ready to eat something you like and just before you take a bite you are salivating so hard it squirts out of your mouth we used to call it "GLEEKIN" Lol.
Mr and Mrs Price, do you deliver to NY??? I am drooling over this on RU-vid and my turkey cold cuts aren't making me feel any better! Jokes aside, really looks good!!
May GOD continue to shield and protect TLH and its owners/founders from the wiles of the enemy but continue to allow TLH to flourish and prosper all the days of their lives... In Jesus's name-Amen!
Normally, I don't like turkey legs too much, but these come so tender, they're delicious. I got the mac-n-cheese one. I'm gonna eat here again for sure. I got there early on a Sunday before church let out. Once it was noon, a line formed.
