In this video, I would like to take you to Turkey's first and only time museum, located in the village of sille, in Konya's Selçuklu district. Do not ask if there will be a time museum, they did it in Sille, which dates back 5000 years, and it was beautiful.
The Time Museum, also known as the Sille Chapel, was restored by the Konya Selçuklu Municipality in 2012 and brought into tourism.
In the museum, there are specially designed clocks belonging to the Ottoman and Republican periods, ruznames issued by Ottoman pashas, pocket and desk calendars, and handwritten-printed calendars used in official offices. There are also gold and silver pocket watches, a calendar with geographical and economic data according to the provinces belonging to the Turkish Aeronautical Association, and an archeological sundial sample from the Roman period.
If you happen to be in the Sille Village of Konya, which I recommend, because what you will see here will not only be limited to Turkey's first and only museum of time, but you will find much more in Sille with the traces of its 5000-year history and its delicacies that appeal to your palate.
