I MUST try Turkish delight some day! When Edmund is eating the Turkish delight in Narnia, it makes my mouth water 🤤😍. It looks so good!! And I’m still not quite sure I even know what Turkish delight is! Much less what it might taste like. I love that it’s made green in this video rather than the common pink-ish color. This guy is an incredible chef!
Traditional Turkish Delight is flavored with rose water. Its a slightly perfume-y taste that a lot of people absolutely hate. Like when you're putting on cologne and accidentally sprinkle some in your mouth. But its very mild and i really like it. Its not as overpowering as you might think. It tastes more like how roses smell and less of the bitter perfume-y taste. But it definitely is an acquired taste.
Water, Sugar and lemon juice. Is for the syrup. Sugar, corn starch , and water for the jelly add the syrup to the jelly wants its solid. Mix corn starch and sugar to cover it after its chilled to both side cut and enjoy 😉
