Half a head of cabbage (I have a large head)
Juice of 2 lemons and salt 1 tbsp.
Shred the cabbage, sprinkle with salt and mash so that it becomes softer and releases juice.
Squeeze the juice from the lemons and pour over the cabbage. Mix, place in a deep bowl and compact. Cover with cling film and put in a cool place for a day. In a day our cabbage is ready.
