The usual thing to turn is to pull the brake on the side we want to go. A different technique is to bring the braked wing to 30% or 40% and then raise the hand on the opposite side to which we want to turn. This maneuver has some pros and cons. The biggest problem is that if we overdo the braking we can stall or stall.
