Have you ever struggled with motivation? I've found that while it's easy to do things when I feel good, I often struggle when it feels too hard.
Mel Robins popularized the concept of the 5 second rule, but I've found a variation of that rule -- which is more of a ritual I learned. Essentially, I tell myself to 'turn my brain off' and just move into action mode.
Ironically, I usually find that the task I've been putting off wasn't that bad, and that it was bigger in my head than it was in real life.
This concept is not a catch all, and if you find that it's hard to overcome the negative feeling you have towards getting stuff done -- then you may need to spend some time sitting with your feelings and asking yourself some questions. I find that I get stuck here often, and taking the time to be kind to myself and give my emotions space to be heard is enough to 'unblock' me.
'Turn your brain off' naturally isn't asking you not to think, it's just bypassing the brain's tendency to seek comfort and make excuses. You'll need your brain for your task ;)
