I paused the video and quizzed myself, i figured it out. Take off the 1 and the 6 strings, move the 2 and 5 to the 1 and 6 slots and down tune a whole step.
"Oops, bottom 4." Also, oops, those are actually the TOP 4. Anyway. Still too many strings. I'm converting my guitar into a cigar box. Taking off the top 1 & 2 strings and the bottom 6 string. That will leave me with 5-A, 4-D and 3-G. Going to tune the A down to G, and that will give me the standard guitar box tuning of G-D-G. Three strings are enough.
can I do this with a classical guitar? and is it true that a classical guitar would sound more like a nylon ukulele? (sorry I don't play these instruments I just want to learn one of these someday)
@@JenLOL05 If you complain about not having a capo on youtube to use on your guitar i am pretty confident you're not living on the street saving every penny you find. $10 is just not a lot of money for something you can use for years.
