xole is the best place to learn about music production. every time I see it I kind of feel that I really learned some thing. man if you are reading this comment thank you bro. your tips really work for us.
Idk if anybody said that... but you could drag you mouse over all these drums and "ctrl+J" them at once... idk if you know this but it can be helpful. anyways chill video as always. It is quite helpful because lately ive been thinking about working with these blocks, so it can be easier to arrange and i am glad to see that someone else is doing that too
i appreciate that! and i have a bunch of tutorials walking through my vocals. head to my playlists on my channel and look for "vocal tutorials" and you can choose which one's to watch!
so happy to hear the video helped! and "ctrl + j" is the shortcut for consolidating. consolidating is when you select multiple clips and group them all into one clip. hope this helps! keep making music :)
Dumb question-- re: recording the crash at 10:30, to a different track... can't you just copy/paste the audio to the new track instead of recording it? Thanks, Xole!
not a dumb question at all! and yes you could! but the reason i re-recorded it is that i wanted to record the crash with the audio effects i added to it (eq and reverb)
